Enjoy the Double Tree over booking policy

Cancelation of my reservation. I had to go to a shabby hotel in downtown at 3AM without any compensation.... and for the same rate. Deplorable

Friendly and classy hôtel in the West country

Ouyr family room was comfortable, the staff was welcoming. Great breakfast buffet as well.

Perfect for me

One night stay, but everything was great. Easy check in, spacious room, great toiletries. It was handy to have a fridge for my water and wine! I ate in the restaurant in the evening, and a buffet breakfast the next day. Thrre was a large group, I think an overseas coach party, that ate in the restaurant in the evening and it was very noisy, but that's not the hotels fault. All of the staff were really nice, friendly but professional. It’s just off the M4 with easy parking, so not in the centre of Swindon. There is a Londis supermarket just over the road, 2 mins away, so that was handy. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is ok, just off the highway with limited surrounding amenities. You need a car. The staff were bordering on rude. With the exception of Rita who was excellent to deal with. There is a lack of attention to detail. We were provided with dirty towels and no replacement coffee pods or water, unless requested. There is no phone number in the room for reception. The plus a fridge in the room and comfortable beds. There is a function centre in the hotel. The wedding guests were unruly and the hotel staff did not seem able to control the wedding guests. A physical fight occurred with the police called. I also had a payment issue which none of the staff could successful explain or resolve.
