The room was smaller than a bathroom, the floor was really sticky .. my shes stuck to the floor in places, the shower was no more than a trickle and no tea,coffee facilities. The toilet/shower room u couldnt swing a cat. The breakfast included was continental.. 2 x cheese 1 ham 2 x serial croissant white brown bread .. not worth the 280 quid they charged for 1 night .. i have stayed in hostels that were better.. and to top it off they wanted a further £10 to park

Very comfortable stay

Very pleasant with a most acceptable room and friendly service. Only criticism would be some extra cleaning needed around shower cubicle and drain plug. Otherwise very good stay.

Parking difficult - wasted nearly an hour trying to pay for parking nearby on the utterly useless Apcoa app. That is not the fault of Ibis,.but nevertheless did not put me in a good mood!

Booking cancelled

Turned up to check in after a 12hr work shift for the reception staff to tell me that my booking had been cancelled. They explained that I should have received an email. No email received and all my bookings for the Ibis at Swindon are still live. I checked in next door at the Holiday Inn express, she explained that they were fully booked and there are plenty of hotels in Swindon. I asked to see the manager of the HI express and fortunately they managed to get me a room which I had to pay for again. This is a disgrace, what the hell is going on. I was told by the manager that the Ibis is fully booked for the next 6 months. I have two more further bookings. I expect you to find me alternative accommodation and I want to be fully compensated for my ordeal. What kind of show are you running.

Booking was cancelled yet charged

I have booked a hotel stay for last Saturday 18/9-19/9 at Swindon Ibis budget, however when I arrived the hotel has a note on the door saying all bookings are moved to holiday inn next door, holiday inn told us ibis budget has turned into private use, and all bookings starting 13 sept 2021 to jan 2022 are cancelled. We have never received any information about the cancellation. And I have contacted the number and talked to the relocation team, spending 2 hours on the phone we couldn’t get a hotel room around the area and at the end we decided to go home. I’ve told the relocation team to cancel my booking but it is still not cancelled. Money was charged. I was told because I didn’t manage to check-in so they can’t cancel my booking. Most ridiculous thing I have heard of, lesson learnt, don’t book from a third party agent, always go direct! The manager from Holiday inn explained to me ibis should have notified hotels.com on the cancellation of the bookings and I have not received such information, we wasted our time, energy and We were charged.
