Great review thanks. Yes we are Old style and proud of it, because old style had great personal caring hospitality and caring. Thats what we offer. Every operson is an individual and a friend.

We loved our stay. The motel can best be described as “quirky” in the positive sense of the word. It felt very homely and particularly interesting. It was very, very clean and had everything that we needed. The Manager was very welcoming and could not do enough for us. We will certainly return.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room has been thoughtfully equipped to provide all essentials. The motel has an easy, friendly 'vibe'.

Very quirky and clean.A great location for what Brooklyn has to offer. A very reasonable price. Not suitable for people unable to use stairs.Brooklyn is a must for seafood lovers.

Overrated no value for fee!
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HotelsOverrated old rundown building and room! Broken floor tiles, poor, wifi, terrible mattress, I ended up in Wyong hospital from gastro from the milk! Which was put in oj bottles, for 160 I was expecting better, Sam kindly carried my bag to station 💕Merriweather is much better for less 😄

Hi Julie, Yes, Please note our building is heritage listed, people love the old stile accomadation and the old style personal service we provide we are very proud of that, as you said our caring staff helped you all the way to the railway station and also tried to satisfy your numerous problems. We provided you with numerous bottles of milk at yr request, other guests and staff were drinking the same milk. No one else had any issues, our bottles are sanitised and we prefer to give real milk not UHT people generally like this. As a retired nurse I would advise more look at a Lactose intollerance and over consumption of milk you drank. {normally supplied for tea and coffee} or issue from food you consumed while here, we didn't provide meals. You also had the priveledge of getting a refund from our owner. For no particular reason. Our beds are of highest Motel quality, most people have no complaints Some like yrself have particular needs, we cannot satisfy every person. Finally, we care for every individual as if they were family, and we provide very clean comfortable accomodation. 99% of reviews testify to that! Occasionally there are people like yrself who cannot be satisfied. Thank you for yr review we welcome you back again.

Good strong hot shower and clean comfortable bed. Everything you need for a pit stop on a long drive. Very quaint little fishing village with good food options.

Stopover for trip on the Riverboat Postman
