Creek Cottage - Leura couples getaway

This cottage was built in 2020 and is luxurious, light and spacious. Set on a large block of land and built next to Govetts Creek, a continually flowing and pristine waterway. The cottage is quiet and private with a northerly and sunny aspect. We have thought of you (our guests) in our design and inclusions. Offering high cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen including a Bosch washing machine and dryer (available on request), gas log fire, lime washed floorboards (no shoes but socks provided), 55 inch TV with Foxtel and Netflix, Wi-Fi, luxurious 2 person bath, separate shower, new king size bed and a 5 x 3 meter covered deck overlooking your own private running creek. Waking up to the sound of the babbling creek is so relaxing and helps you to unwind and let the hustle and bustle of city life be an afterthought. This is a haven for relaxation, reconnection and resetting. In addition we have a natural spring (so bring your water bottles to drink this amazing and pure water).

We can also provide a gourmet grazing board $100 delivered to your door. Advance bookings necessary to source local & organic products where possible.

Imagine arriving at Creek Cottage for your stay on a cold winter’s day to the aroma of a slow cooked home made meal?

The lamps will be on, fire lit, your table will be set and the cottage cosy and warm. Your meal will be ready and all you need to do is pour your drinks.

We offer a small but delicious choice of slow cooked meals for your consideration
* Syrian chicken mild curry with accompaniments and fluffy basmati rice
* vegetarian mild curry with organic vegetables cooked in rich stock with fluffy basmati rice.

If you would like to indulge in a massage, please let us know as we have employed an experienced massage therapist who will come to the cottage for your comfort (you will need to book in advance as she is a busy therapist). 1 hour massage (in house) for women $120, 1 hour massage for men $150 & Facials $95. Please note our massage therapist has 20+ years experience and has Cert IV qualifications in deeply therapeutic/remedial/craniotomy sacral and reflexology treatments.

For other beauty treatments we are aligned with Sanctuary Skin & Beauty in Leura. Again bookings recommended.

Creek Cottage is only 1.4 km to quaint Leura Village with stunning shops, restaurants, bars and transport.

Good things come in small packages!
We had three nights at Creek Cottage. The cottage was comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The decor was tasteful and felt relaxed, cosy and tranquil. Light and ventilation was excellent and it was delightfully quiet. We appreciated the full size stove, generous bath and underfloor heating in the bathroom, and the king size bed. Creek Cottage was exactly as described. The cottage is in a wonderful natural setting. We loved the sound of the gentle water flow along the creek and the numerous birds who actively relish the natural environment. So many shades of green - makes for a wonderful outlook, especially from the back patio.We loved our stay, albeit would have liked to spend more time.

Brilliant Blue Mountain sojourn
The cottage was an absolute delight. Everything imaginable was provided. Very clean, well organised and generous in space. Cooking (and BBQ) facilities excellent. Clothes washer and dryer and iron available. Delightful decor and very comfortable. On the fringe of Leura close to nature, but only a short drive to the shops, restaurants and train station. Not far from the walks and view lookouts. Hosts Kim and Ian were very helpful.

A peaceful sactuary
Nestled in a quiet valley, the loudest noise is the babbling brook. The large balcony is perfect for reading or enjoying a cuppa or drink. The living area is large, bright and breezy with the kitchen well stocked with essential utensils to make the most of the best stove range, with the cleanup made easy via a dishwasher. The bed is cofortable, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The little things were also catered for, with shaver/sewing kit. I couldn't think of anything that was lacking

A hidden gem in the heart of Leura. Looks better than the incredible pictures. It is quiet, peaceful and picturesque. The 5 star inclusions made all the difference. We will be coming back to stay in the cooler months. Lovely hosts, you couldn’t ask for a better stay.

This property was very clean. And also close to Three sisters(about 10 minutes to drive) . It is also very nice that this is located quite place. Only one thing let me feel bad was weather. But this is not due to property.

We had a lovely, relaxing mini break at Creeks Cottage. The place is well cared for. Lots of thoughtful little touches. Slightly quirky layout - the entrance to the bedroom is in the bathroom. Great location and private. We loved our stay.

A quiet haven with a superb outlook over a babbling creek
This is a well-equipped cottage with a great lounge area overlooking the creek and very comfortable bed. It is well heated and a great place to retreat to after a busy day exploring the Blue Mountains area. It is also located in a very quiet part of Leura even though it's no more than a 5-minute drive to Leura's main street and the Great Western Highway.

Perfect and so Peaceful
As per other reviews Creek Cottage is exceptional in so many ways. So clean and a beautiful quiet location to relax and unwind. Personal touchs are lovely, such as chocs on bed, muffins and bread waiting for us are just a few which made a difference when arriving. Thank you! Would highly recommend. Though we only stayed for two nights, we are looking forward to returning for seven nights over Christmas. Thank you Kim.

Creek Cottage lived up to expectations. Generous proportions, gorgeously styled, so many extras provided by the hosts - REAL MILK in the fridge, fresh muffins, an abundance of fruit, tea-bags and coffee, chocolates on the bed, gowns behind the door, relaxing bath salts - too many additional pleasures to remember. The ultimate for me, however, was waking up at dawn to the calls of my favourite birds - Magpie, Kookaburra, Butcher bird, Crimson Rosella, English black bird, Currawong and Eastern spine bill. Thanks Kim and Ian for a reminder of what life beyond the metropolis is about.
