Publié le 23 sept. 2012 sur HotelsNous avions choisi cet hotel car près d'une compétition sportive à laquelle nous participions. Mais si vous y allez pour visiter Sydney, sachez que c'est à presque 40 minutes en voiture quand il n'y a pas d'embouteillages à la sortie de Sydney. Par ailleurs, la receptionniste nous a affirmé qu'il n'y avait pas de bus qui passait près et qu'il fallait prendre un taxi soit 80 $ aust ! Cette même réceptionniste se proposant d'appeler elle même le taxi bien sûr ! Or en nous promenant, nous avons découvert un arrêt de bus à environ 500 m qui va à la gare de Liverpool (3$) d'où partent des trains des banlieues type RER très régulièrement pour Sydney en 3/4 d'heure environ. Nous avons choisi un pass multi qui permet de prendre tous les trains, bus et ferry que l'on veut dans la journée pour 21 $ y compris le retour. En conclusion la réceptionniste est une arnaqueuse de mèche avec une compagnie de taxi !!! Sinon, l'hotel est sympa , grandes chambres, kitchenette, bien pour des familles ou pour des groupes comme nous. Proposent des repas spéciaux à la demande pour les groupes. Bémol : pas très bien insonorisé.

Disappointed this stay. Stayed two nights in an apartment with a 9 mth old baby. Ants crawling everywhere in kitchen, lounge area. Woke up in one bedroom with ants on my face. Food crumbs on floor, in corners and under lounge. Kitchen sink had big blobs of fungus growing in around plug area. Second day woke up to no hot water. Called reception to be told it’s off until 11.30am. No notice. Called again early evening no answer so left message to say we still had no hot water. No reply before we checked out. Horrible uncomfortable stay this time.

We found hunts hotel online and booked the Executive Studio.
Check in was easy. The foyer area was lovely and had a pleasant fragrant smell.
Directions to the room were a little confusing but we found it. The entry way and hallway smelled a little of cigarette smoke. But the room itself was clean and tidy. We found that all staff were friendly and approachable. When we needed fresh towels etc they were always eager to assist. We also needed maintenance (nothing serious) and they were very responsive. More signage to help understand the laundry washers and dryers (ie which section to place soap, how long the loads take) would be helpful but google helped with some things.
Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would book with Hunts Hotel again.

I stayed in a town house which was somewhat worn and in need of a freshen up but was functional and comfortable. The staff were friendly and good to deal with.

Place needs a proper clean up, windows filthy, had a awful smell to cover up smoke smell. Only thing ok was beds were comfortable
