Excellent location, comfortable beds and good shower - fine for a one night stay very close to the beach. Kitchenette not well equipped with cups etc. There were 4 of us and we took turns using the one cup!

Hello Alison I am sorry to hear of the shortage of cups etc, like everyone we are having trouble getting staff and training them to do what is needed due to the COVID situation. We are one of many in the hospitality section having to deal with this. I wish you had rung down or notified reception and we could have rectified this as unless notified and until housekeeping staff trained up we need the guests feedback which we immediately follow up so we thank you. We do not wish to have disappointed or guests not supplied in their rooms properly. I hope you will come back again later to see how we have rectified all and in the meantime the staff of Manly Waves Accommodation wish you and your family a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.

The room was extremely cold. Air con heater didn’t work. Shower was the most non eco friendly one in the history of showers. Parking was an extra fee on top of the room and the lady at the front desk was most impolite and unhelpful during check in and check out.

Despite booking it as it advertised free parking, I was told upon arrival that there was none and I would have to risk leaving my car on the street which was 2P till 10pm. The lady who checked me in seemed to be quite put out by my arrival, and quite unpleasant. The room had broken blinds with many missing

Some maintenance needed to be done to the room I stayed in. I was confused when at first I didn’t have running water, and then after opening all taps and waiting some time finally the water came through. Location is fantastic with a short walk to the beach. Could just do with some modernisation, but for the one night stay where I needed a bed it did okay.

Close to the beach and Manly.

The motel is perfectly located within walking distance to the beach and Manly Corso. Parking is limited, but you can park on the street. We walked to the beach for a pre-breakfast swim. The property is currently being renovated, but noise was not a problem. The staff were very friendly.

The place is old and shabby needs a lot of work to bring it up to expectations of guests. In fairness the new owners have only had it one month but the room we were allocated was nothing like the one shown advertised.

Absolute disgrace. Not even willing to discuss a partial discount due to Covid restriction. Blaming it is a small business. Everyone understand but do not be unethical or not truthful. Tried to tell us to phone Expedia only to have Expedia phone them while we on the phone
