Cute apartment, great location
Publié le 28 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayFantastic location just steps from Bondi beach and tons of cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The apartment is decorated nicely and looks just like the photos/description. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because the apartment was not sparkling clean (stained bedding and shower floors), the windows didn’t stay fully shut and didn’t have screens, causing bugs (cockroaches) to enter, and it was really warm + humid because there’s no breeze due to the windows facing the alley. Screens would be a nice addition to the windows and potentially a small cooling unit. Besides these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay and she was a good host.

Little oasis in the Bondi chaos

We had a question about the washer the first night of our stay, and the owner responded promptly. For us, the only drawback was that the balcony, which is shared with the other units in the building, was regularly “moccupied and we didn’t get the chance to enjoy that space. I will also say not to be dissuaded by the building. The apartment is in far better shape than the building’s first impressions. It is very clear the owner takes pride in her property and has a keen eye for design.

The perfect short break

Only downside was an all night party at a neighboring apartment however this did not detract from our stay
