Best location in Manly. Close enough to the action but far enough away that makes it quiet when you want it to be.

Disappointing!

We emailed the request and also followed up with a phone call and was assured there was no problem, it was confirmed and we would have a twin single bed configuration. We checked in to be confronted with a double bed and a very dilapidated sofa bed with a mattress so thin you could feel something poking in your back. It was sunken in the middle and clearly past its ‘used by’ date. This flung together arrangement was made up with a very thin blanket. It’s winter! We discovered a previous guest’s pubic hairs around the toilet seat, clearly the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Overall the room was not particularly clean. It felt like a hostel. We expected at least a clean room for $400! Very disappointing for an Accor hotel! We did mention the experience upon checkout but with a front desk managed by what appeared to be backpackers and students are not hopeful of any improvement.

Dear Anonymous,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. I apologise if we have not reached your expectation. I am very sorry if you did not find the sofa bed comfortable and if there was issues in the bed configuration. This should never happen. On the other hand, just few of our staff are students or backpackers, but it doesn't mean they are not capable to do their job. We receive a lot of praise about them and having a mix staff of people from all over the world, it's a plus, not a minus. I understand your frustration during your stay, but it has nothing to do with our staff heritage or what they do in their personal life. Anyway thank you again for the feedback. Friendly Staff and great location‼️
