Fabulous new rooms, Super nice staff!
Posted Aug. 22, 2024 on HotelsWow! Is all I can say… great location right across from the beach, big bedroom, kitchenette, living area and nice bathroom. Beautiful new decor. Super friendly staff! Just a nice espresso machine would’ve been a plus! Had to go down the street early to get a coffee…

Disappointing!
Posted Jul. 14, 2024 on HotelsA very disappointing stay. We required twin single beds. We emailed the request and also followed up with a phone call and was assured there was no problem, it was confirmed and we would have a twin single bed configuration. We checked in to be confronted with a double bed and a very dilapidated sofa bed with a mattress so thin you could feel something poking in your back. It was sunken in the middle and clearly past its ‘used by’ date. This flung together arrangement was made up with a very thin blanket. It’s winter! We discovered a previous guest’s pubic hairs around the toilet seat, clearly the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Overall the room was not particularly clean. It felt like a hostel. We expected at least a clean room for $400! Very disappointing for an Accor hotel! We did mention the experience upon checkout but with a front desk managed by what appeared to be backpackers and students are not hopeful of any improvement.

I am very sorry if you did not find the sofa bed comfortable and if there was issues in the bed configuration. This should never happen. On the other hand, just few of our staff are students or backpackers, but it doesn't mean they are not capable to do their job. We receive a lot of praise about them and having a mix staff of people from all over the world, it's a plus, not a minus. I understand your frustration during your stay, but it has nothing to do with our staff heritage or what they do in their personal life. Anyway thank you again for the feedback.
