Acacia Cottage - 2 mins to Leura, brand new renovation with entertainers kitchen

This newly renovated mountains home has a fabulous entertainers kitchen with island bench for seating/gathering around. The open concept kitchen/dining/living area opens onto an outdoor deck with seating and bbq, overlooking bushland, yet the home is just a 2 minute drive, or 14 minute walk to bustling Leura Mall with a quaint historical village atmosphere, boutique shops, cafe culture, supermarket and train station.

The entire home is air-conditioned, including the bedrooms so heating or cooling is a breeze, but in the cooler weather, the flames from the gas log fire really add to the cosy, warm atmosphere.

The living room has a gas log fire, large smart TV, comfy corner sofa, an easy chair and games to entertain! The dining table has a rustic timber characterful top, with easy seating for six and with the addition of two outdoor chairs comfortably seats eight people.

The three cozy carpeted bedrooms have doonas, pure wool blankets and electric blankets. The main bedroom is bathed in morning sun, has a queen size bed and packed with extras, including a brand new ensuite with shower, TV and a balcony deck overlooking the garden with a stunning cherry blossom tree in bloom during September/October.

The second bedroom is soaked in Northern sun throughout the day, and has a Queen size bed, console table and built in wardrobe.

The third bedroom also faces North and is bright and sunny, featuring a bunk with a full size double bed at the base, and a single bed on top and a chest of drawers.

The brand new main bathroom boasts a soaking tub, a large level open walk in shower, toilet, underfloor heating, heated towel rail and Bosch stacked washing machine and dryer, a wonderful addition to dry clothes after a wet bushwalk!

The entertainers kitchen has Bosch appliances including induction cooktop, fan forced wall oven, microwave and dishwasher. A Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, glass teapot infusers and coffee plungers make mornings a breeze, and a high powered blender is perfect for smoothies or Margaritas! A cocktail shaker, wine cooler and large champagne tub take care of the drinks side of entertaining, and a large range of kitchen tools, wooden boards, cookware and serving ware make meal prep and service easy.

This beautiful mountains home is a fabulous base for a gathering with family or friends, sharing good food and drinks, and making memories with laughter and games. It is the perfect hideaway to retreat to after exploring our stunning wilderness and charming villages, or snuggling in on cold days and enjoying an authentic mountains experience.

This is a beautiful house with new everything. We did not want for anything! Jodie was an excellent communicator and very kind. The fireplace is amazing, we loved the big bath, the kitchen was awesome, the backyard was lovely, the beds were very nice, linen crisp, everything was clean and new and genuinely excellent. We were planning our return holiday by the end of Day One.

We stayed for The Leura Garden Festival,kids had a great time bikingdiwn trails, grandparents loved the festival and Leura. Perfect. House was was equpped, lovely outlook and good space to accomodate everyone. Thankyou.

Beaut place to stay in Leura with all the comforts
Close to both Leura and Katoomba this immaculate little house provides for a very comfortable, pleasant stay. Very clean and tidy and with a very modern and new fitout. The gas log fireplace was a favourite after coming in from a walk around the mountains. Hosts are quick to respond and helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Thanks so much for a great stay. We recommend this place to all who want a pleasurable stay in the Blue Mountains.

Great place
Very nice place on a quiet side street but close to the main drag in Leura. Super clean. Nice amenities. One of those places where the surprises were only pleasant ones. Wish we could have stayed a few more days. Would stay again and recommend to a friend. Owner very organized to ensure a nice experience.

What a gem! Excellently kitted out property, everything brand new with all the creature comforts you’d want like underfloor heating in the bathroom, very effective fireplace and electric blankets on the bed. Very generous welcome local snacks and cider made a great touch. perfect for our family of 5 weekend away. Cosy feel but plenty of space, good sized backyard for the kids to burn some energy however needed to keep an eye on 3yr old as there’s a little drop off towards one edge. Location is probs walkable to leura mall but is across the highway. 5-10mins in a car gets you to all the best of this part of the mountains. We’ll be back next time for sure!

Leura family cottage
Our family had a fantastic stay at Acacia Cottage over an autumn long weekend. A newly renovated cottage with beautiful finishings and all the requirements for a family stay. The kids enjoyed playing in the backyard overlooking the bushland during the day and parents made the most of relaxing in front of the gas log fire in the evenings.

Great stay in the Mountains
Fantastic 3 bedroom house which was beautifully presented with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms with the host having thought of everything you would need. Lovely indoor/outdoor areas for dining. Easy access to the property and great communication from the host. Cannot recommend this property highly enough and will definitely be keen to stay there again.
