Beautiful, peaceful, Berowra
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNINE was a wonderful weekend away for our family. Despite being in the winter, the home is warm, and full of charm. We immensely enjoyed the SUPs, tinny, hot tub and wonderful recommendations of host, Elly. She went above and beyond to accommodate our family, and we are most grateful for her communication and thoughtfulness. We’ll hope to return in the future! Thank you!

Relaxing break with great views
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis break was a great opportunity to unwind and relax as a family. We spent most of our time on the top deck admiring the view. Our teenagers enjoyed fishing, kayaking and the enormous milkshakes from water vista cafe. We hired a bbq boat from the marina during our stay and cruised up river, I would recommend doing that if you have more than 4 people staying. The spa was a great way to end each day!

Magical weekend stay
Publié le 3 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur group had a lovely relaxing weekend at Berowra Waters. We enjoyed the kayaks, standup paddle boards and fishing. The property was spacious, clean and comfortable and the view was magical. We can’t wait to have another visit!

Long weekend

Berowra Beauty
Publié le 8 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is beautifully located on the river with an amazing view. The house is very nicely renovated with a spacious kitchen and an amazing deck... Downstairs is a perfect teenage retreat and as we had 4 kids (aged 10, 12, 14 & 17) all of them had a wonderful time. Having use of the fishing and water toys was great, although we found a hole in one of the kayaks. Overall, it's a perfect weekend getaway for a medium to large sized family.
Elizabeth was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Fabulous weekend in the water

It’s a big spacious house and the views are gorgeous. The boat service provided by Col is timed to perfection. All I would say is a weekend here is not enough here!

Roomy River Respite

Nine at Berowra Waters is a literal GET AWAY being accessible only by boat and absolute water frontage, you feel yourself slipping away from your everyday life from the moment you are greeted at the pontoon to be transported across the river.
The accommodation itself is spacious with two living areas both extended with large comfortably furnished balconies boasting stunning unobstructed water views.
There are four bedrooms, two with ensuites plus an additional bathroom.
The heated outdoor spa, the wood burning fire, the sunny balconies along with the use of a small motorboat and fishing gear make this property an excellent choice for a winter escape.
We found Nine at Berowra Waters to be immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed. The decor is eclectic but comfortable and all of our guests enjoyed peaceful nights sleeping.
Elly is a courteous, considerate and communicative host genuinely invested in ensuring your time at this charming property exceeds your expectations.

It’s reassuring to know that the work we’ve put in to the house is recognized and appreciated, we do our best to make sure guests have everything they need for their stay.
We have a love for mid-century modern furniture- Eames, Parker, Fleur so I can understand your comment about our eclectic mix, we’ve tried to give the interior some personality with high quality furniture and furnishings.

Amazing relaxing stay- A must do
Publié le 24 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayEverything worked like a dream from our initial booking to information on arrival and being greeted by the delightful Col. And assistance to check out at the end of our stay.
As soon as we arrived, we started relaxing in this truly beautiful location. The scenery is spectacular. We were lucky to have an extended stay (7 days) which we filled with fishing from the pontoon very successfully, kayaking and visiting nearby locations, games, reading, yoga and meditation.
We were supplied with a boat which was easy to operate and Col was wonderful to send us helpful bits of information throughout about weather and tips.
Thank you so much Elly for sharing your lovely home with us, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful peaceful Berowra
Publié le 16 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayGorgeous big house on the beautiful Hawkesbury river. Communication with Elly was great and collection from the wharf was all as planned so the weekend was lovely. The house is really well stocked whether its access to kayaks or kitchen equipment. My only criticism is that it doesn't seem the cleaners have not been doing their job - I wont go into details here - instead take up with the owner directly so she is aware and can address.

Hi Lucie, Thanks for your review, great to hear you had a lovely time away at NINE and you made use of all the facilities we provide for our guests. With regards to the cleanliness of the house, I am sorry to hear your experience was a disappointment. We had a terrible storm the week before and several residents along the river lost their boats to the heavy rain, including our cleaner, along with flooding in their house. This meant that they didn't have full focus on making sure our home was up to their normal standards. I am so sorry, I should have have expected this as a potential issue and warned you prior to your arrival.
