Great Getaway Location

It is a large area that allows easy interaction and enough room - there can be many “cooks in the kitchen”. We were curious about the outdoor space being in front of the property, but there was plenty of privacy.

Perfect family getaway
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had 7 adults and two toddlers in our group. The home is set up perfectly for families. So much space in the kitchen and living room area! Lots of seating, both indoors and out. Every kitchen item you could need is on hand. Short walk down to a beach area which was wonderfully shallow at this time of year and perfect for the little ones to paddle in. The owners responded quickly to my questions and were great to deal with. We are looking to rebook again for next year.

Comfortable, convenient, clean and roomy!

Lack of Privacy & Respect
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHost was on site in a Camper in the backyard just feet away from the cottage. They monitored our every move including using a surveillance camera! The driveway is shared with sketchy neighbors with no fence. There is obviously friction with the hosts. This made for a few uncomfortable conversations. Plus we got to witness them urinating in the front yard numerous times. If your hoping for privacy this property is not it!

There is a security camera monitoring the exterior of the property. Unfortunately this guest broke all but one of the house rules leading to more interaction than either of us were happy with.
We have a good relationship with our neighbor which is why we ask our guests to limit their parked vehicles to 3 and avoid parking on the neighbour’s side, hopefully avoiding uncomfortable conversations.
I am unclear about the urinating in our neighbour’s front yard, but our neighbour is quite friendly when his property is respected. We have never had a concern with him, in fact, quite the opposite.
