Beautiful apartment in the heart of Ortigia
Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in the apartment for two weeks and loved it. The remodeling of our unit was obviously done with taste and attention to detail. The location could not have been better unless you require a view but we were perfectly happy with “our little courtyard” and the proximity to everything. The only wrinkle was water pressure . It was a little weird but in now way diminished our enjoyment of our stay. We realized we were in a very old building in a very old town. It’s all part of the experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Our host Angela was very helpful and responded right away to any questions or concerns.

Wonderfull small apartment in Ortigia

The hosts were very responsive and we had no problems during our stay. The apartment is a bit challenging to find at first, but once you get acquainted with the area you'll have no problems with the location.

Great Stay In Ortigia
Publié le 10 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayFantastic communication and advice was provided by Angela the property manager, so helpful! The property is so easy to get to. It is just over the bridge and 2nd street to the right. Highly recommended for 2 people. It is cramped for more than 2 but doable at a pinch. The accomodation is very safe and secure! It is very near to the market and cafe's. All of the island is very accessible from here. Highly recommend the 2hour boat trip to the caves and a swim in the Mediterranean. The other tours are not worth it in our opinion. The Domo, Domo Piazza, Castle, Greek and Jewish districts are very much worth visiting. Ortigia was one of the Sicily highlights for sure.

Publié le 4 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayMake sure to GPS exact address as this apt is in a courtyard. It’s super private, quiet and a short distance to everywhere you want to be. Unit is fully stocked and communication for check-in and out was seamless

Our location made it easy to walk to all the major landmarks in Ortigia and was close to many restaurants and local markets. We were very pleased with Angela, our host, who provided us with a well stocked kitchen and checked on us to make sure we had needed supplies.

Lovely stay, welcoming host and lots of amenities. Beautiful rooms and decor and plenty of blankets and towels. Would recommend.
