Only reason i stated here was cause i needed a parking spot for my car, and guess what, you just park on the street, i do not call that a proper parking when the hotel states free parking included. The staff where great though, location is not.

Good location
A charming hotel that is well-located for Ortigia. On street parking right outside and we always managed to find a space. Stayed three nights here in a spacious room with high ceilings, at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was good, served on the shady roof terrace. The only downside is the aircon struggled with such a large room, so it was hot at night. Would go back though, a nice hotel.

Good location but bring a torch!
Bedroom was huge with massive roof beams. The downside was that it was painted a rather dark blue and the lighting was totally inadequate. Couldn't read unless you held your book right next to the light - honest. Quite depressing and no chairs in room either. Should have complained really but there for one night only. Breakfast and staff good. There is no private parking, only nonreservable street parking, which was very busy. Parked in side street ok.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. they helped us park our car (only a couple spaces available) and even carried our suitcases up the stairs to our room. The terrace was so nice for breakfast. Room was adequate in size and comfortable. It looked right on the street, but with the windows closed we had no problems with noise (air conditioning was good).

Doable, but not quite worth the price.
Slightly disappointing in various little ways, making me wish I had tried my luck someplace else, even for a bit more money. You can't access wifi unless you are in the lobby, the rooms have uninviting lighting/floors, etc. If it were 20€ less per night I'd say it was worth it.

Old style room, no curtains. Room was clean. No microwave and kitchen is only opened for breakfast. We didn't have a proper tea for the 5 days of our stay!

Convenient location for sightseeing and rest
It's close to the train station and has free parking over night area. Very good for us to get rest after couple days of traveling. Also very convenient to visit two parts of attractions: 25 minutes walk to archeological park and 15 minutes walk to ortygia.

Small friendly hotel
This was just right for us three siblings. Reasonably priced, comfortable, friendly and with easy parking outside for our hired car. There was a ten minute walk to the main sites in Ortigia, but with restaurants nearby. Fully merits three stars.

Average, The shower is very, very , very small. Very tired hotel. Avoid Syracuse, do not waste your time in Syracuse. The city is a dump. Not worth going there because of Ortygia. Not much in Ortygia, do yourself a favour avoid the city and go somewhere more beautiful in Sicily.

Inexpensive, close to train station
It was nice that the hotel was close to the train station as I arrived after dark and left on an early train. The neighborhood is mostly hardware stores, but safe. It's some distance from the sights on Ortygia Island, but it's equidistant from the other sights in Neopolis (ruins and museums). The room was fairly basic, and the bed was very firm, but everything was clean and the breakfast was OK. Rooms are one flight up, no elevator, but the staff helped with my large suitcase.

Sorella Vacation
This hotel was a good choice as the location was good for getting around to all of the sites. The breakfast was European, but much better than most, so I was off to a good start for morning siteseeing after ham, 2 helpings, various sweet rolls, and cheese. The staff was very helpful and friendly and I'd certainly go there again if I ever go back to Saricuse.

Great value
For the price, this hotel is hard to beat. Staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are clean and comfortable (even if not refurbished for a while) and hotel is in a relatively quiet location. A/c worked will, and typical continental breakfast was very good. There was parking available in the street outside the hotel (which was free). The hotel is about 10 mins flat walk to Ortygia (which is a real highlight of Sicily), and 15 mins to the archeological park. Location is not "pretty", but for the price it is great.

Convenient location, clean hotel!
This hotel was a great choice! It was right near the train station for easy transportation, and a short walk from Ortygia island, so we could see all the sights, but ALSO not get caught up in traffic! Room was very clean and staff was polite and accommodating. Air conditioning worked very well, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was included. If I go back to Siracusa, I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Great character hotel
This was a lovely hotel with lots of character. Our room had wooden beams in the ceiling and a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast was a small buffet served on the terrace. The hotel is situated around a 10 minute walk from Ortigia and a 20 minute walk from the amphitheatre. Street parking is available outside. We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel.
