Fabulous getaway
Publié le 21 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayThis was a perfect place to get away and completely power down. No internet, no cellphone, no TV. The property was cozy, clean, very well insulated and comfortable. We sent in the middle of winter. There was a really nice wood burning fireplace. The house overlooks a small pond. It was beautiful. It was less than a 2 hour drive from DC so very geographically desirable. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful getaway cabin
Publié le 1 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayPerfect cabin for relaxing, unplugging and hiking the nearby trails! The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved that we could cook full meals in the kitchen and there were plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The wood indoor stove is top notch, we loved having cozy fires at night. There were some games, books and DVDs at the cabin which were great to have on hand to relax.The view of the surrounding area and stars at night are stunning. We enjoyed exploring the nearby towns and of course going to Shenandoah NP. This place is exactly what we were looking for- cozy, secluded, and romantic.The hosts were very responsive and kind, and provided great directions and instructions. We would love to come back again.

Pleasant Fall Stay

The cabin is nestled in the trees and right next to a small lake, very picturesque. Check in was opening a padlock on the mailbox. The cabin is a nice size for 2 and is nicely equipped for meal prep, relaxation and unplugged enjoyment.

Unplugged Weekend

Quaint Cottage

Two week stay
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCabin was great, was a little concerned about the road in but it wasn’t a problem. Location to park and hikes good, luray caverns, James Madison home also worth seeing. 5 deer out the back window on Saturday. Thanks for the new deck and steps. 😊. Only suggestion would be we had salt and no pepper and no charcoal for the grill. Beds are old and we ended up using two but all in all a fun cabin.
