Short 4 Day Trip
Publié le 18 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was the perfect size for two people and in a great location. A microwave, mini fridge, and an electric kettle are provided. The shower was a bit messy at times but overall a great stay.

Cozy comfortable

Great studio and bath in North Tacoma neighborhood
Publié le 16 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayOnly glitch was day of arrival to find bedding and towels uncleaned and heaped on the bed, dishes uncleaned on nightstand and floor covered in scraps of leaves and dirt.
Vacasa offered to send someone in two hours, but it was already 8 PM, clearly a message had been lost by servicing contractor.
Instead they compensated me for a day of the three-week stay, I stayed in a local hotel and arrived after 4 PM next day to find everything made up properly.
Studio is on the bottom floor, rear entry, of a Craftsman home typical of the established 1920's neighborhood. The family has three young, well behaved children (with reasonable bedtimes) and two dogs who are separated from the studio by a nice wooden fence and railing. Dogs are friendly and not frequent barkers when in yard.
House is literally one-block away from a fine grocery, and four restaurants, two are breakfast, two are lunch and dinner. Downtown is a short drive or a medium walk, through pleasant mixed residential and mostly downhill. Be sure to visit the Art House Cafe and Doyle's Irish Pub along the walk.
Space well met my needs for temporary housing while visiting family over Christmas holidays.

WONDERFUL
Publié le 1 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWonderful host. Wonderful place. The bed is super comfortable, and they put some really great detail into the carpentry of this place. The desk is a live edge table. Hooks all around the room which was a great feature for hanging bags, towels, and garments. Finally, the bathroom/shower is something out of a spa. The surrounding area is extremely quiet and close to all the places you need to see while visiting Tacoma.
