Magical North Tahoe Getaway; three master bedrooms, wifi, new kitchen & hot-tub

Wonderful custom home in wooded Talmont Estates, near Tahoe City, where the drive up offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Three large Master Bedrooms. Two bedrooms have California King beds and full bathrooms and the other bedroom has a Queen and full bathroom. Additionally, there is a bunk bed and twin bed in 2 bedrooms . Each bedroom also has a TV. Two baths are new, with beautiful tiled showers and jetted Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has been fully remodeled, with a commercial Viking Gas Range, Frankie Sink / Faucet and Granite counter-tops and new refrigerator . We have also upgraded the downstairs with new hardwood floors and the staircase and upstairs with new carpeting. This house is nicely furnished and comes with all linens. There are two decks; one (in rear) has an awesome Hot Springs Hot Tub on it. The living room has a sleeper sofa, a new 55 inch LCD Television, and a Country wood stove with a glass door. We have a good cable TV package and high speed cable Internet with a wireless router. This house is very well equipped. Comes with seasoned firewood, Lion gas BBQ grill on rear deck, high end kitchen cook ware/dishes, a great supply of cooking spices and electrical fence wiring protecting all ground level doors and windows to keep bears away from the house while you are sleeping or away for the day. Also, comes with Private Beach access.

Paige Meadows Retreat: Talmont Estates is a great neighborhood for walking, biking or just hanging out. Very child-friendly and pet-friendly, too (off the beaten track, relatively low on vehicular traffic). Walking distance to Paige Meadows, a chain of alpine meadows which are a local favorite for hiking and cross country skiing.

Private Beach Rights: This property has beach rights at the Tahoe Park Beach, next to Sunnyside Resort. Includes a playground, swings, bar-b-que pits, horseshoes, volley ball and picnic tables.

Close to the lake and Resorts: Located within minutes to Sunnyside and Homewood Marinas, as well as Homewood Ski resort, Grandlibakken, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley.

Great house

This house is a 5 star place to stay. The kitchen is amazing; it’s equipped with everything you could need plus more. Three big bedrooms all with on suite bathrooms. Plus another full bathroom. Entire house was very clean. Lots of off street parking. Great location. Close to town and ski areas.The owner was very responsive to our questions. We cannot say enough good things about this house.

Wonderful Neighborhood

Our stay over the 4th of July was great! The location is perfect on the West Shore, and the neighborhood is quiet with lovely neighbors. The house has a bathroom in each bedroom. It worked well for our family and we would stay again. The house only has two towels per bathroom so it made it tricky for a 6 day stay for-more than two people per bedroom. Also, it does not have a garage that is available for guests so we had to bring in our chairs and boards and cooler up the stairs everyday and there was not really any room for those things in the house.

Perfect cabin in the Talmont mountains

Love this place! Three large master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms for each, really nice touch. Well appointed kitchen with large windows letting in natural light. Cozy living room with large screen TV and DVDs. This time of year, don't forget mosquito repellant and allergy meds (a lot of pollen around the area).

Beautiful home in a beautiful place

We had 5 adults and a dog very comfortably housed over memorial day weekend. With 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, we had plenty of space. We loved the jacuzzi. The neighborhood was very quiet and had easy access to some moderate hiking trails. The kitchen was very well-stocked with amenities. We really had no complaints and would certainly stay again! Note for dog owners that the yard is not fenced.

Great Long Weekend Ski Trip

We booked Curtis’ property for a recent trip with friends to ski Palisades Tahoe. The location was great, only about 15 minutes or so to the mountain from the house. All of the instructions and documentation Curtis provided in his communications both via email and at the hose were concise and easy to follow. Check in process was very easy and straight forward. The cabin was very clean and well stocked from soap and shampoo to coffee and kitchenware. The beds were also very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a rustic escape. In the evenings we were just a quick 5-10 minute ride to Main Street and many restaurants but there was also a market nearby and we could have easily prepared meals at the house with all that was provided. Overall a great experience and a great location for a ski getaway!

Wonderful Winter Getaway!

Large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and a well stocked kitchen. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops in Tahoe City. Pets are allowed, so everything we could ask for in a Tahoe winter retreat!

If I could give it 6 stars I would

This house was phenomenal for our Tahoe ski vacation with friends. The house was extremely clean, stocked very well, bathroom in each room and king sized beds. Extra bonus that it’s dog friendly. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. We were almost snowed in and the owner was very responsive and flexible with the situation.

Awesome house and location

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. No problems with check-in, clean upon arrival and great communication with our host. The house had everything we needed and the location was great! Just a ten minute walk from Paige Meadows and a 45 min drive to Sugarbowl. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed here in Sept 2023 and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our size family, loved the fact that all 3 bedrooms had all their own private bathrooms. Wonderful Cabin!

This is an amazing cabin with lots of room! We loved the location with access to hiking trails in the neighborhood and a short drive to the private beach park. The highlights of the house were the lovely front deck, hot tub and grill out back, and the amazing kitchen. The beds were also really comfortable. It was a super relaxing stay, and we would definitely come back in the future!

Wonderful stay, great host and amenities

My family spent 4 nights in Curtis' place and had a great stay. There was more than enough space for everybody. The two upper bedrooms would be great for two small families. One had a king bed with twin bunk beds in a large closet that had its own window, light, vent, and some shelving, so it could be partitioned off from the main bedroom, while the other had a king bed with a twin bed in an alcove. Both were en suite, one with a bathtub, one with a step in shower. The downstairs bedroom had a queen bed with another en suite bathroom with step in shower, and then there was a fourth full bathroom in the hall. All of the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and soap. A note for less mobile people: the beds were all rather high, and my elderly mother needed to improvise a stool to get on and off of the queen. The living room had three couches, a bunch of games and a fireplace. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a lot of counter space, basic cooking supplies (oil, salt, pepper, etc), a lot of dishes and utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc etc. We didn't use the outdoor space much, but the front porch was spacious with a nice table and chairs, and there was a hot tub and grill as well. The house is located a little out of the way, since it's ~5 minutes up quite a steep hill from 89 (stunning views on the drive). The private beach was nice - I recommend checking it out. Curtis was very responsive every time I messaged him. We would definitely stay here again!

We found this great cabin for our annual trip to Tahoe. The host was responsive and the cabin was easy to check in and out of. The cabin was clean and so beautiful! A full bathroom in every room too! We enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely book again in the future.

Perfect mountain home!

We had a very nice stay and the owner Curt, was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Toasty fire, outdoor hot tub under the stars, plenty of sleeping space and well equipped all around!
