I booked this based on pictures on the website. I am a school teacher on.limited budget so this looked like a great place for my family. It was not like the picture. Very misleading. So many issues from the get go. As I see other reviews a lot of the same things . Weeds everywhere. No access to anything without paying fees. The places pictured are on different properties far away. Very misleading. Smelled like cigarettes when we got in.
Parking pass issues. Coffee pot issues. Spider webs and spiders on porch. Couldnt use. Construction going on waking us at 615am. Would have been nice to know this. Kitchen table wobbly. Duct tape on dresser in bedroom holding furniture together. Bed broken in other room which we had to repair. Pillows on tiny couches (uncomfortable) had brown stains on them. Internet would not work for gaming or tv. Vacasa tried to help fix it but we got no where. Called vacasa 3 times and texted waited an hour for any
response with little help. I hate complaining but I saved a long time to do this for my family to be completely disappointed. We stayed out of place as long as we could to just avoid the disappointment. Will never trust the pictures again. I have my own pictures to prove the mess.

Close proximity to Donner lake and downtown Truckee. Area is very quiet.
Internet never worked and TV was useless without internet. Big mosquito problem in unit because of window/slider screens

Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaywhen we arrived the power was out in the kitchen and living room. It was repaired three days later. The kitchen and appliances worked fine after that. The clothes dryer exhaust hose seems to be disconnected and the dryer vents directly into the bathroom where it's located. temps were high 90s days and 50s overnight, so we opened windows in evening and closed them during day, which kept condo comfortable but mosquitos got in through holes in window screens which was a problem. Last three days of our stay, the wifi stopped working. We never got it restarted.

Nice place to stay
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was a little hard to find and some of the instructions weren’t extremely clear. Overall it was a nice place in a great location. The internet was out most of the stay and it would have been nice for the cold nights we couldn’t go out so we could watch a movie, but everything else was great.

5 stars if the WIFI had worked
Publié le 21 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location, perfect apartment. I would have given 5 stars, but we had one huge problem: the WIFI never worked. My husband had to work and couldn't for the whole stay; he lost 3 days of work! The problem was not solved although it seemed quite simple to do. We didn't understand why it couldn't be solved immediately. If we had known, we wouldn't have booked this apartment.
It would have been perfect if we hadn't gotten this problem. This apartment has everything you need and it is right on the slopes. We would love to go back.....with internet connection!

Amazing location
Publié le 4 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayAmazing location, well equipped home. Great for small family. Couldn’t figure out heating the upstairs rooms, and a heating panel was left uncovered exposing wiring.

Great ski trip with the family

We got switched to Vacasa. No alternative heat source. The up stairs heaters were burnt wires.

Horrible Stay, Horrible service, Dirty unit - No heat, no hottub or sauna....
Publié le 18 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayArrived to unit during snowstorm to find it filthy, dog hair, dirty dishes, dirty sheets, dirty towels.. and a note from last tenant that they stayed an extra night and sorry unit is dirty with no detergent or cleaning supplies or wood for fireplace because they used them all....???!!! No cleaning had happened because of overstay and snowstorm?? what???? Never will I EVER book through VRBO< EXPEDIA OR VACASA. Awful customer service. Talked with a lady in Texas about snow- hahaha ... she was NOT helpful. Vacasa Ca refunded cleaning fee - I spent 1.5 days getting supllies and cleaning unit. Picking up dog poop on deck, washing sheets and towels,doing dishes, cleaning out fridge, throwing away old food from prior stay, shoveling walkway to car. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!
