Comfortable cabin, busy street

Everything was fine, but the normal sized coffee maker didn’t work, so we had to use the mini coffee maker. There were only 5 forks total. Iron but no ironing board. Body wash bottles empty in two of the three showers. So minor issues, but overall a comfortable cabin on a fairly busy street.

Tahoe Donner Mountain Rental

We booked this property for a wedding of our son. My wife was supposed to make the wedding cake for the couple but the oven was broken and one of the tv's did not work. We had to use someone else's oven which was a big inconvenience. Wish they would have told us about the oven being broken.

Nice house for winter getaway

This house worked well for our family visit. The snow was fantastic and there is a relatively flat area behind the house that is great for snow play. Typical of the houses in Tahoe-Donner in the winter, one wants to be very careful pulling out of the driveway due to cars driving reasonably fast and no visibility due to the snow banks. However, if you have someone watching the traffic to see when it is safe to pull out, it works fine and this is to be expected with most any winter cable. The kitchen is well equipped and overall the house was a nice place to stay.

Very accomidating

Home was in nice location, plenty of parking. Home was clean and stocked. Kitchen was stocked. Oven was not working for some reason but all other aspects were great

As advertised

It was clean and well-stocked (especially the kitchen and towels!) Communication with the property managers was good. It’s an old house and not a 5-star accommodation in general terms, but I gave it 5 stars because it’s exactly as advertised, and a good value! We did not use the community amenities, so can’t speak to those.

Blizzard without snow shovels

Although there was a snow blower, we really also needed a snow shovel. A text was sent to property manager, who responded saying they were sorry but never provided the shovel. There were only 3 wine glasses, no potholders, and very few kitchen towels, which was only a slight inconvenience .

Really Nice!

This was one of the best stocked houses we have rented. Didn’t have to buy much at all! Nice spacious bathrooms and comfortable furniture. Would definitely rent this house again. Only negative was that our 88 year old parents had a bit of difficulty going up the steep stairs to enter the house. Had to go up these stairs to unload the car which was a pain! Once inside; all one level and nice.
