Another lovely holiday here
Posted Jun. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayWe have been here 4 times now and we really love it. The location is perfect and so quiet even though it’s in the heart of a Luberon village. The house is really well equipped and clean. Having high quality and soft linen/ towels is really useful. We always spend a lot of time in the garden by the pool because it is so pretty and relaxing. Jean-Paul and Françoise are so welcoming and kind. We’d love to return again!

Basic Accommodations
Posted Oct. 23, 2022 on HomeAwayWe were disappointed with the quality of furnishings and functionality of this small home. Unfortunately we had booked 4 weeks . Recommend only a few nights here .
Limited hardwood seating, minimal furniture. Impossible to entertain friends and when we asked for an extra table we were given an old broken down card table. Owners do not speak English.
There are awkward stairs to the kitchen, my husband fell twice on them so we moved the little dining table up into the kitchen. Bathroom is tiny and there is no dryer for clothes. We were told we could go to a laundromat. This is very basic accommodations.

This is the only one negative comment we have in 6years of rental. These holidaymakers were environmentally unfriendly and unfriendly to the cleanliness and safety of the house. They spoke perfect French (they lived in France and have a perfect knowledge of the house as they had visited it and knew it was for 4 people while they invited 8/10 peoples regulary) but made no effort to communicate whith us considering us as servants. They regulary harassed us for trifles and left like thieves while we had an appointment for the inventory and the delivery of the keyes and they leaves the house open and durty . We refuse to receive them and advise everyone not to receive them.

Wonderful property
Posted Oct. 3, 2022 on HomeAwayThis is a superb property in the beautiful and quiet village of Taillardes, just on the edge of the Luberon area. With 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the house is perfect for 4 adults. The arrival instructions were excellent and the hosts (Francoise and Jean-Paul) could not have been more helpful. They met us on arrival and also came to say farewell on the morning of our departure. We walked every morning to the local bakery (500m) and enjoyed a superb meal at the excellent restaurant in the centre of the village. The location is excellent with easy access to the Luberon villages such as Gordes, Lacoste, Menerbes. Larger towns such as Nimes, Avignon and Aix are easily reached in under 1 hour. We also enjoyed sunbathing by the pool (although the water was a little chilly at the end of September)

Absolutely wonderful
Posted Jun. 22, 2022 on HomeAwayEasy arrival instructions, lovely owners who met us. Lots of information in the house about local places to visit.
The house was wonderful. Spacious, immaculate, well fitted out, comfortable and just a complete delight to stay in. We loved the pool which was so clean and really nice as the weather was exceptionally hot.
Supermarkets close by. Many walks from the door, good running routes too if you like to run.
Thank you for a great week, we definitely hope to return.

Fantastic stay
Posted Sep. 14, 2019 on HomeAwayLovely private house in the small village of Taillades. Located on a private road with car access limited to residents with an automatic opener, which is provided. Air conditioning in the bedrooms too, which was great at night. Owners very friendly and helpful. Quiet and private, but close to all the attractions of Provence and the Luberon.

Peace and tranquility

Jean Paul and Francoise are charming hosts and have a wealth of knowledge. The weather was very hot so the pool was just the thing after a days sightseeing. We would highly recommend this property. Merci!.

Our month-long stay in this home was exceptional.
Posted Oct. 24, 2018 on HomeAwayWe wanted a quiet retreat and this Les Taillades home provided just that. It is protected from traffic and at the village edge so gave us privacy and solitude. Yet the location provides easy access to services and to the ancient hilltop towns of the Luberon. Well marked cycling trails pass close by and are great for exploring the region. Our host and hostess, Jean Paul and Francoise, were welcoming and generous with local information -- and provided everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.

Holiday Rental

Well equipped, wonderful location - we really enjoyed the Friday night concert whilst sitting in the garden round the pool.
