The Lakeshore is a good option for staying in Tainan. On the one hand, there are cheaper hotels. On the other hand, the location is great, lots to do in walking distance, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are excellent.

Great hotel
Over all, the stay was pleasant. Ample space in room and convenient location for walk-to-everywhere. We had a great lunch at the buffet downstairs. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Two tiny things for improvement: 1. Somewhere reachable and visible in the room, there were wires exposed. Probably not too safe for younger kids. 2. Though the light fixture are great and bright, if only there's an easy access to a nightlight that's handy for maneuvering around but not so bright as to disturb sleep, that'd be great. Will consider to stay here again.
