Overall the stay was ok. The property is old and the rooms are small. The location is great, right on an MRT station. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fine. We stayed on New Year’s Eve so true choices were limited. It wasn’t great value but the location was good.

This hotel is located in a convenient location, adjacent to a park and a subway station. The room is not big. The breakfast was quite enjoyable. There was a pipe noise at night near my room. The construction noise and mess was definitely present.

This place had great staff. They were all friendly and welcoming every time we passed by the lobby. Most of them spoke Chinese and English so I didn't have to worry too much about my broken Chinese. We had to break our trip up into 2 parts because we were spending a day in Taichung and they held our groceries for us until we got back. The rooms were very nice and clean. The location is excellent. There's a great park across the street that we took our 2 year old daughter to every day. It's right next to the MRT station. If I ever need to find a hotel in this area, I'll definitely be returning to Dandy Hotel!

Amazing location and staff

Amazing and helpful staff. Very close to the MRT. Hotel offers services like booking day trips and taxi to the airport. Their breakfast food and selection is amazing.

The hotel is very nice and there were plenty of friendly staff and amenities. Can’t beat the location, excellent with a 7-11 right next to it and a MRT station. Though this one doesn’t have any escalators. Although the next one with an escalator is just down the street. For the room though, we had some weird configurations where there is plenty of chrome on the ceiling of the bathroom. Which means that you can actually look into the bathroom while someone is using it. The walls are also really paper thin. Anyway, the next time I’m in Taiwan, I am definitely staying here again
