A centrally located large family home in Tairua - heaps of space and views

We are no longer a Bed and Breakfast. A self serve light breakfast is available on site.

Four furnished bedrooms (two on each level), two full bathrooms, three toilets, kitchen/dining area, three lounges, two sun rooms, and spa pool. Children welcome. Minimum of two night stay. Cot and high chair available.

Guests can hire linen from owners or bring their own. Duvets/pillows provided.

We can cater for one person, a couple or three couples and family groups. The house can sleep up to 8 people. Three queen beds, two single beds. Accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen. Guests are expected to leave this property clean and tidy. Includes using recycling bins on departure.

Tairua offers an 18 hole golf course, with magnificent views of the Coromandel Ranges, Pepe Estuary, Township of Tairua, Tairua harbour and sea views to the east of the Shoe, Slipper and Mayor Islands. climb Mt Paku and take in the breath-taking views. Legend has it a climb to the top of Mt Paku will see you returning to our paradise withing 7 years. Latest attraction to Tairua is the Tairua Heritage Centre for a step back into the 1880s and 1900s.

Play on our local golf course, or visit Whangamata, Purangi or Mercury Bay golf courses are all within 45 minutes drive of Tairua.

Ladies, the local shops and cafes are a 5 minute stroll away.

Dine out at one of Tairua's excellent restaurants or bring home takeaways and relax in the comfort of your home.

Ideal for a working holiday, good internet, optional spaces for those online meeting.

Beautiful Home in Tairua

A lovely big house with well appointed spaces. Jan had left us a platter of fruit from the garden plus breakfast items. Enjoyed the spa pool under the stars and house was cleaned to a high standard. Would love to stay again next year if available.

Superb property

I loved the house and the fact that it was so well equipped. Spa pool an absolute treat. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. I’m hoping to go back next year. Only problem was the handle coming off a pottery piece when my son picked it up.

A lovely place to stay

Great place to stay, with very comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and tidy. My friend and I were just passing through Tairua with our teen daughters so this was the perfect place for a night. Equally, we could have stayed longer as the house is in a great location for Tairua and surrounding sights. Another time! Our hosts Jan and Craig were great, easy and prompt to deal with and had added lovely details to the accommodation, nespresso machine, selection of herbal tea, great books on NZ and cosy dressing gown and slippers. When we woke up to rain, they also left an umbrella out for us to use which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place.

We only staid for one night. We enjoyed the B & B and bears, we wouldn't want to have missed it. Nice stay just outside Tairua. Service was what you like from a B $ B. Thanks heaps The three girls from Auckland.

Our hosts made the perfect nest for us. The first floor of the house includes bedrooms and a mezzanine with view on the entrance of the harbour. That's where we had our first 2024 breakfast. Despite being close to the main road, we didn't hear the cars from the bedrooms at night or early morning. We will definitely come back.

A spacious sunny upstairs. You can see Mt. Paku from the window, A great continental breakfast served by wonderful host family. Room services every day. If you stay here you feel at home - highly recommended.

A little gem

My friend and I loved our stay here. We had upstairs all to ourselves and every need was anticipated. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and delicious and a bonus was the gorgeous dog, Minty. Jan is a wonderful host and we loved our time here. Highly recommended.

Great location, outlook and hosts

Wonderfully helpful hosts, and outlook onto Paku hill. Main road traffic starts early so something for light sleepers to be mindful of but not a problem for us.

Wonderful place to stay

Jan is super hospitable and very accommodating. It was a lovely experience staying with her and Craig. The accommodation was lovely, fresh & clean and with a nice breeze flowing through which was perfect on such hot nights. Comfy bed. Really enjoyed my breakfasts which included plenty of fresh fruit straight from their garden. Highly recommend this as a place to stay
