Great place to stay if heading to Selwyn snowfields. Property has all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay (wash and dryer), wifi, loads of kitchen appliances, towels. What makes this place a 5/5 is the thoughtfulness in providing plenty of paper hand towels, tea towels, bath towels, toilet paper and fire starter and matches for fireplace. Other properties only provide the bare minimum. Beds are so comfortable, check in was a breeze. Minor suggestion to add more pans in various sizes eg small ones for cooking eggs, grill racks and baking pans.

Warm
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe fireplace was lovely and kept whole house warm. The aircon and electric blankets were good in the winter too. Great utensils in the kitchen. Easy street parking but can easily fit 3 cars in the driveway. Check in was late by around 2 hours but good selection of DVD’s. Unfortunately there was only good reception for Telstra and not other telecommunication providers.

Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall accommodation was in a great central location and that meant that we could easily experience snow as well as only being 30mins from the town of Tumut.
There was a few things that were disappointing
Wi-Fi was one as it didn’t really work, the internet would cut out at 7am and then that made sending or receiving message difficult to non-existent. This impacted work emails and calls that were delayed.
Also as the internet was extremely slow when we did get internet we couldn’t connect to the tvs even know they were stated to be smart tvs.
Apart from those issues this was a great, clean and welcoming home.

As mentioned in our listing description wifi is limited. Service is also unreliable in Talbingo.

Great stay
Publié le 25 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayLooking for a place close to Selwyn Snow Resort we found this little gem. It has everything we needed and loved sitting by the fire each night. Talbingo is a cute little town with not much there but enough to explore for a few days.

Talbingo holiday house
Publié le 15 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat property, super clean, super well equipped especially in the kitchen. Close to the caves, great location. Someone should check operation of DVD players, nintendo and batteries in remote controllers.

All the comforts needed
