Hôtel tranquille

Le séjour s'est bien passé. Juste l'hôtel est un peu loin de tout, mais j'ai apprécié le calme et la tranquillité du lieu. Pas satisfait en revanche au niveau du personnel qui certes est accueillant mais pas assez nombreux pour repondre aux demandes: exemples le menage n'a jamais ete fait de toute la semaine, il à fallut demander les serviettes de toilette (absentes à notre arrivée) les draps etaient troués il a fallu plus de 2 jours pour qu'on nous les change...plein de petit details comme ça. Et en plus soi-disant le petit déjeuner est inclus..mais juste pour un café et quelques trnches de pain avec bien souvent rien à mettre dessus...pas cool !

quiet safe stay

It was a nice quiet stay and staff was alwayas kind and helpful, location is good, it needs only some reovation in the furniture.-..

Feel at home <3

Though we haven't see any security guard in the place, we are thankful that we are still safe and sound. The staff are so nice and accommodating. We just really feel that we are at home. 'til next time! :)

Manora some good some bad

Manora is a decent place to stay, with an outstanding helpful and friendly staff. The good: Jerome and Danny and the staff are great. The air conditioning is very good. Unit in each room. The beds are comfortable, and I'm tall 6'3" The owner was accommodating, allowing us to check in early and switch rooms mid stay. Microwave, fridge, stove and television very good. The Bad: No security, Manora has a gate that is never closed and no security guard. The pots and pans were old and appeared dirty, I would never use... we bought our own to use during stay. The unit was not clean, we wiped and cleaned everything from the table to the light switches as most everything was not clean. Overall some things great, some not so much. I love the staff, but would not stay again unless the security issue was resolved.

Thanks a lot for your review. Some issues such as the cleaning is an eye opener. We will take some immediate action on this. With regards to security, we are in the process of negotiating a replacement guard from a different security agency. We used to have a guard,but sacked them due to offenses.

There were a few minor disappointments. Kitchen tap had to be turned off under the sink to prevent fast dropping and water wastage. At first I thought the water wasn't flowing and had to pay 60p for a water barrel. No shower curtain to prevent water spraying out onto the floor and no bath mat, so stepping out onto a slippery wet floor was dangerous. On asking for a bath may told "no bath mats left" No towel replacements in the 4 nights 5 days. Shower cubicle desperately needs mould cleaned from tile joints. The on demand shower water heater was virtually useless as the water supply to it has been adjusted so low as to starve it. These units MUST have a sufficient water flow in order to work reliably. The downstairs shower had a beautiful water flow but no water heater. Little staff presence at the reception counter which also served as the breakfast area, so never availed of complimentary breakfast. No address provided on booking sheets. Motor cab drivers had great difficulty finding the place. Recommendation: staff should stay in the units themselves periodically and furnish evaluation sheets.
