The cabins were excellent. Homely, high spec, detached with parking out front. Mike the Owner would have picked us up from the train station if we’d asked and dropped us there once leaving, although it was only a 9 minute walk.
The cabin had heating, a ceiling fan, two large double beds, a kitchenette and great shower in the bathroom. There was a rocking chair plus table & 2 chairs in the room too. Nice fluffy towels and shampoo/conditioner. If we ever decided to go to Talkeetna again, we’d definitely stay there again.

Bed is firm if you like that.
We had the best cabin at the location

Cozy, spacious, clean and well appointed cabins. Easy close walk to Main Street and Alaska Railroad. The Innkeeper was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!!

Terrible management. Unresponsive to an emergency
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThis is a truly inadequate place with a horrible owner/ manager. One of the 2 cabins we rented was sprayed with a toxic poison that made it impossible to stay in . The manager was hostile and non- responsive to our request for assistance. A truly horrible experience. Please stay away from this place

We're sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we want to assure you that our response to your situation was neither hostile nor non-responsive.I apologize for any inconvenience caused by our absence when you arrived, as we were attending a family event. We did leave detailed instructions and our contact number for any questions or concerns you might have had.We were first informed of the issue regarding the “toxic poison” (which we believe may have been the lingering scent of the bathroom spray provided for guests) over an hour after your arrival and as your group was heading out to dinner. During the brief phone call, a member of your party requested extension cords to power CPAP machines, as they planned to sleep outside on the porch. We advised that this was not an acceptable solution and offered to help find alternative accommodations if your concerns couldn't be resolved.By the time your group returned from dinner, half of you had already decided to book another place to stay, and no one seemed interested in discussing the matter further with us.We take great pride in the cleanliness and safety of our cabins. We use low-scent cleaning and sanitizing products and do not use air fresheners, focusing instead on thoroughly removing any odor-causing sources. The bathroom spray provided is optional for guests to use as a courtesy.We hope the rest of your travels through Alaska are enjoyable and trouble-free.

These cabins are amazing and well equipped. Very clean. Perfect location to walk around town. I wished we could have stayed there longer.

Fantastic!!!
Publié le 29 août 2024 sur HotelsI wanted to stay forever! They were very welcoming and the cabin was fantastic! It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and everything was above average quality. Sadly, we were only here one night and it was rainy, so we didn’t use the outdoor patio/grill area or the nice little porch on the cabin. We loved the walkability of the little town too.

The cabin was spotless comfortable,well furnished, great decor.
I felt like the owners really cared about their guests. The amenities were appreciated.
