Avis Tiny Cottage Farm Stay

Hi Gilbert. First, the tornado didn't hit the week before, three of them hit the day before. I messaged you that we were out of power and that we were having storms. While I certainly understand your frustration with the condition of the property after being hit by these storms, you were warned. You did not hear from me the day of the storm because we had no service. I was pretty dismayed by your lack of compassion for what happened to our city when you arrived. You did not read the directions, nor did you read the description of the property entirely. When you called me about getting here, I asked you specifically if you read the directions and you told me no, that you followed your GPS. We tell you not to follow your GPS but to follow our instructions. We also tell you to let us know when you turn off Highway 20 and we will meet you in the parking area. You called me from somewhere that you turned onto Highway 20, parked, and admonished me for not being there. We don't meet people on the highway. I'm not sure what steps are uneven as there's only one small step up to the little platform outside the door. There is no poison ivy, there is a sign telling you that that is our fall forage at the entrance. There is also a sign on the wall right above the French press telling you step by step how to use it. The induction burner was under the counter in a basket. We also tell you in our listing that the cottage is a storm shelter and there are no windows. I'm not sure why you booked when everything you complain about in the listing is laid out except for the single step up to the bathroom. I'm very sorry that you thought I would lock you into the cottage during your stay. That's definitely not something I have ever thought of doing with any of my guests. But, I can tell you if those tornadoes would have hit while you were here, you would have appreciated the cottage.
