Très bruyant, même avec des bouchons c'est très dérangeant. Les photos sont trompeuses et ne représentent pas du tout la réalité.

We are in a very central location in town and we know that noise from neighboring businesses can be very annoying. This is something that is beyond our control, for this reason, we make it clear in advance in our pre-arrival messages and again at check in. Our recommendation is: "Please, if noise and loud music are a nuisance to you, consider staying elsewhere." In any case, we insist on reiterating our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

what a disappointment Ameli, as soon as you made your reservation a message was sent to you warning you of this situation, anyway the staff made the exception of charging you only for the first night to see if you felt comfortable before charging you for your entire stay and when you decided not to stay they refunded all the money for the remaining days ignoring our cancellation policy, and you don't even consider the attention, the cleanliness of the place, or the breakfast. Good to know .

La oveja was the perfect stay. The staff were very helpful in showing me around and the restaurant had some of the best food. It’s also in the best location in tamarindo.

This was a very different stay to my usual. But I still enjoyed it. The free breakfast was a great addition since Costa Rica - well Tamarindo was soooo expensive. Prices there were higher than what I pay in NY or at all inclusives. But the hotel was amazing. The pool was right outside my door. Staff was very friendly. Close to the nightlife. All in all if I ever go back to costa rica(probably not) this will be my go to hotel

The staff warned us multiple times about the late night noise from the disco next door (even when we checked in) but we liked the place so much we stayed an extra night anyway. Two members of staff also bent over backwards to help us get on the road when we discovered our rented car had a flat battery.

Hola Juan! Gracias por tomarte tu tiempo para dejarnos un comentario. Lamentamos mucho que tu experiencia se viera afectada. Nos encontramos en un lugar muy céntrico del pueblo y sabemos que los ruidos de los locales vecinos pueden ser muy molestos. Esto es algo que excede nuestro control, por esta razón, lo aclaramos anticipadamente en nuestros mensajes previos al arribo y volvemos a aclararlo al momento del check in. Nuestra recomendación es: “Por favor, si los ruidos y la música alta son una molestia para usted, considere hospedarse en otro lado.” De todas maneras, insistimos en reiterar las disculpas por las molestias ocasionadas.

A great little hotel with a good restaurant attache and breakfast included at a bargain price. A little basic but with spacious bedroom and very conveniently located for all shops, restaurants and the beach. Was warned in advance about very loud music snd given the opportunity to cancel but took the chance and took earplugs. Stayed 6 nights and only Friday and Sat night had extremely loud music until 3am so best to avoid those days. Apart from that I would happily go back. Tamarindo though is a very noisy town until about 11pm most days,

I booked my stay at La Oveja Surf House for 7 days and 6 nights but only stayed for 2 nights. The first night we got no sleep due to the noise (we were told) but we never thought it would be an ALL night thing. We thought we could give it another try and stay a second night but it was the same thing noise all night and we got no sleep. There were also ants everywhere and there were so many dead ants behind the beds as if they were sprayed and not cleaned. I woke up to a rash on my hand and when the hotel reached out to me to know why we were checking out early I explained the situation and they replied back with an apology but they should mention that they are the ones that host the events and that’s why there’s so much noise and they could have refunded the remaining 4 nights that were paid for and not used.

Hello Sandra, as we did on repeated occasions, we are very sorry for what happened, the issue of noise we made it very clear at all times, our message is clear "it is a place to join the party and not rest", we also clarify that we do not refound for this situation, the issue of ants, unfortunately you did not tell us about it until after you left, we would have been able to offer you at least an alternative room change, we must understand that we are surrounded by nature, it is something that can happen but it can also be solved, again I apologize, thank you for taking the time to leave your comments, we will work to improve.
