We loved the Cottages for a quiet weekend away. We wanted somewhere close to the tourist attractions and it was just a short 3min drive to the local shops as well. The ones Sianne and Jarrad made us feel very welcome!

The Cottages is a beautiful private setting with lush vegetation and beautiful birds. The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable.

Tranquil and peaceful getaway cottage.
From the variety of native birds and the horses in the paddocks....,a truly magical place to be to getaway from the hum drum of the city life.

On the positive side, the cottage was clean, with cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery etc. The bed was comfortable and Hot water came quickly and the nights were quiet.
However the shower flow was miserly. If you didn't want to use the wood stove, heating was awkward. TV channel choice mediocre.

Beware of the scam
Publié le 28 déc. 2020 sur HotelsUpon arrival, we discovered that although our payment had been made and the reference number for our guaranteed booking supplied, our room was not available to stay in, with the concierge even going as far as saying that "we have no place for you and your family". The concierge kept on repeating that it wasn't his fault, and continued to deflect the blame and not take responsibility for the situation. He was very unhelpful. It was a holiday from hell. Even now, we're still awaiting a response from hotel.com.

We apologise for the inconvenience that you have suffered. Unfortunately both yourself and another guest booked the same cottage on the same day at the same time. Booking systems need time to send and receive updated calendar information and when you were making your booking, the hotels.com calendar had not updated in time. This is not something we can control or manually update. On our end we only received a booking from 1 person and not 2. If we had been aware of a double booking we would have not only contacted hotels.com but also have contacted you right away. Unfortunately this is a very rare issue with the technology behind booking systems - when people attempt to book the same cottage at the same time by no fault of their own. Once again we apologise for the inconvenience incurred and understand your frustration. We have also expressed our frustration regarding the technical error.
