The bathroom was dirty. Mold spots in the shower. There was rust and dirt on the door. The mirror was discolored. Rust on the cealing. Extension cord visible. Parking was far and expensive. When I tried to get to my vehicle at night it was secluded and no one was available to let us out so we walked, which was 10 min though the maze. I was asked to pay $287. at check in when the stay was already high. For a Hilton and cost I’ll never stay again! Very disappointed!

What room service?

Took me numerous times to get ahold of Che Vita just to order dinner. However, the only good was that the valet service was mostly good, and the service for breakfast at 211 was good.

Review of Hilton Downtown Tampa Stay
I recently stayed at the Hilton Downtown Tampa (211 North Tampa Street) and was deeply disappointed. My experience was marred by poor service, unclean conditions, and unprofessional staff behavior.
Arrival and Check-In
• Arriving at 5 a.m. after a two-and-a-half-hour drive, I was met with an unpleasant smell in the hallway. My initial room had a malfunctioning A.C. unit, making it impossible to sleep due to noise and humidity.
Room Issues
1. First Room: Noisy A.C.
• Moved to another room.
2. Second Room: Loud buzzing refrigerator.
• Moved to another room.
3. Third Room: Constant noise from the toilet.
• Too exhausted to move again.
Staff were irritated and unprofessional throughout.
Valet Parking
• Valet service was chaotic and inefficient, taking 45 minutes to retrieve my car. The valet manager, Adrian, was unhelpful, and the area was a mess.
Pool and Amenities
• Lack of signage to find the pool. Pool area was dirty and disorganized. The pool bar, advertised to close at 5 p.m., was already closed at 4 p.m. with no signs.
Dining and Bar Service
• Uninviting and unfriendly service at the hotel restaurant.
Conclusion
This stay was the worst I’ve experienced. I’m requesting a full refund for my stay and valet charges. I paid Expedia $248.46 and was additionally charged another $260 by the hotel. I hope Hilton or Expedia will address this situation properly and ensure no future guests endure such an experience.
