Beautiful but not friendly
The hotel was beautiful and so was the room, the staff however was not very accommodating. When I checked in, they checked my ID and took my credit card but said the room wasn't ready, so wait for a text when to come back. We went to the bar in the hotel and the bartender stood and talked to another customer for at least seven minutes before coming over to see if we wanted a drink. He then proceeded to taste my drink and then he filled my friend drink to full, so he dumped some off the top which was the floater that she paid for. We then went back to the front desk because our room was ready, and he asked for my ID and credit card again. I told him I already did that, and he said it was for over charges, when I said that was impossible, he said he was look at a different person's bill. He then gave us the key. He didn't give us any information whatsoever, so we had to ask how to find our room and about the free breakfast service.

My only complaint is the $40 parking. We were there less than 24 hours. $10 or $15 wouldve been sufficient and understandable. And we tipped the valets $5 for parking and $5 for retrieving our vehicle. Our Tampa visit was for tests and pre-op appointments for my fiance's upcoming Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. The room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you.

There were no problems with the property itself. I was adequate and nice for a downtown hotel. I do have two criticisms. First, there is no available parking, so you are forced to purchase parking or walk several blocks with your luggage. Second, my biggest complaint was the early closing of the breakfast buffet on a Friday. There were many holiday travelers attempting to get their breakfast and they were closing the doors at 9:00 AM. This seems too early, especially during the holiday season. The manager should have extended the breakfast hours to accommodate the guests.

What a beautiful hotel!!! We were welcomed upon arrival by the very professional valet services team, and when we entered the lobby we were given a warm greeting and great service by Mary, who checked us in. She offered some recommendations for the shopping I was looking to do. Lucky for us our room was ready early and we we were blown away by the room!!! Wow, get the suite upgrade! It was like an apartment, so spacious, great and thoughtful furnishings and details. Bed was crazy comfortable. Only disappointment was that even at dinner time the lobby restaurant offered only a minimal menu and none of the choices we were excited to try so we had to go out for dinner which wasn't in our plans. Minor inconvenience, maybe the chef was sick. Regardless, excellent experience, will absolutely stay again.
