Needs television
Posted Nov. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayLovely room. Nice Canal view . Internet does not connect to television. Also remote batteries dead. Even If those things were working, Instructions sent do not match the remote. There is no HDMI plugged into modem or TV. Property is unable to provide television during our four day.

Great property, terrible room

Very dirty. Owner should be ashamed of herself.
Will go to Property again, but thru private owner we met that seems to care about the room

Not happy
Posted Nov. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayThe stay was great until I was hit with a smoking fee. The rules were read and it absolutely said no smoking in unit. There was no smoking in the unit. The person staying is an extremely heavy smoker so his clothes most definitely smelled like smoke. I had very little communication with the rental company and when they did respond they told me that there was no way the person did not smoke especially since there were cigarette butts in the trash can. I was absolutely ok with getting an extra cleaning fee but to be hit with a smoking fee was absurd. If they do not want anyone smelling like smoke or someone that is a heavy smoker renting that definitely needs to be put in the rental description. I will be telling people about this company and the lack of communication after emailing them several times.It really is a shame honestly especially after the person that it was rented for lost everything in the hurricane and now out the money for a smoking fee because he was accused of smoking in the unit.

Hi there! As shared, evidence of smoking was found inside and outside the unit, and the fee was assessed because of the additional cleaning and extra work we needed to do to remove the smell of smoke from the unit.
Because of this, we had to delay the check-in of our next guest (who left us a poor review because of not being allowed to check in on tine), and we were required to rent an ozone machine to eradicate the smell.

Awesome getaway!

Nice for a short stay
Posted May 2, 2024 on HomeAwayCommunity and restaurants are very cute here. The room and building was nice but not as updated as I had hoped and as it seems in the pics. A bit rundown is all. Unlike others who reviewed, I did not see any bugs at all, hallways were clean, room was clean and all items were available as noted on the listing. Enjoyed the stay especially because it was only for a few days.

The room was nice, expect they have very bright porch lights that shine through room as the curtains do not go all the way so it looks like day light all night , one roll of toilet paper, the communication with the company was horrible they don’t answer the phone you leave a voicemail they dont call back excuse they were training someone .which doesn’t excuse the fact i needed check in information and had questions never will book again the beds are not comfortable

Winter Vacation
