We were there for a conference and it was within walking distance to the Amelie. There are a lot of options for dining, and we felt safe walking every where. The only downfall to the Westin was the cost of parking per night 50.00 plus tax.

Great location

The customer service was great didn’t have to wait too long to check in and they were very accommodating with My mother’s wheelchair/scooter needs. Since we were obviously traveling out of state, we had a scooter delivered for my mother and as we checked it the staff brought it around to us. There is a $25 resort fee. You have to pay each day that you were there. The hotel does it give it back to you in credit to use for breakfast or other restaurants on the premises. This would be ideal if we could use it for the marketplace to buy drinks like water. We did use it for breakfast. Breakfast was amazing. Great options for all dietary needs however they do charge an 18% service charge so it’s just a way for us has been more money at this hotel. That’s really the only thing that I really don’t appreciate which is why I can’t give a full five stars but my favorite part of above house was the beds.

Husband stayed for a one-night business trip. Room was clean, and view was good. Only downer was that the carpet in the room appeared worn. Shenaaz was great for her customer service! She was able to get my husband in early. Great Job!

My decision to stay here was the proximity to the arena. It's less than .4 miles away. Everything was clean and quiet. There is a worker who needs recognition, Ricky. Went above and beyond for us at the pool.

My cousin and I stayed here for four nights for a conference. Everyone from the lady at checkin, to the bar/wait staff at the restaurant to the valet guys to the cleaning ladies were so nice. Everyone went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Our room was very clean, the bedding, mattress and pillows were all comfortable. The water pressure was exceptional and the water got hot quickly. Everything was fantastic. I’d stay here again if in Tampa again. Thank you Westin Tampa Waterside!

Check in time was 4pm and they had no rooms available for us to check in. Parking was supposed to be $45 dollars a day but when we arrived we were informed they just increased it to $50. Lobby is underwhelming. I also felt that the hotel was under staffed.

Special Stay

I was working a lot for the event but my wife and kids got to really enjoy the accommodations and I was very happy with the time I spent with them in our room and at the pool. The location is practically unbeatable.
