The staff always have a smile and nothing is too much trouble. They took my elderly mother’s needs into consideration.

As soon as we arrived we were charged £7 for parking; would expect free parking in a resort like this. Rooms are well appointed but run down and the standard of cleaning is not great, bathroom and carpets in particular need a deep clean- hairs in the bath, dirty shower seals, corners of room not clean. Beds are big but mattress is very hard. Breakfast choice is good but poor quality, pastries and pancakes were hard and definitely not fresh. Staff are very nice and helpful. Sadly would not return.

It took 3 attempts to obtain the correct room. On leaving I queried the variance in charge rate £120 one night & £160 the following. I was told they had variable charge rates, according to demand. This was not made clear at the time of booking. WHY NOT. We had on the 1st night a child’s entertainer, complete with microphone in the restaurant, so that all the guests whether with children or not, were subjected to a a barrage of noise. This should be done in a separate area, although in fairness we were told this was a trial. Overall the experience was not good but the staff were extremely helpful not only in politeness & service but fully understanding the circumstances in which we found ourselves.
