Owner is not very friendly.
Tiles in the shower looked like they were about to fall off,hot water took ages to get hot then it would go cold tried to adjust then went too hot. Shower had sliding panels that were hard to open & close.
Aircon unit was old.
Bed was comfy & cleaners done a good job.
Bathroom really needs updating.

The property was what we expected for Pub Accommodation. The room was comfortable and clean.

Everything is great but the shower
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HotelsJust stayed 1 night, the room was clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and had all the amenities needed: fridge, kettle, tea, milk and cutlery/ mugs/ plates. The only down side was the shower, the water was either boiling or freezing. It would be a good temp for 1-2 minutes then freezing/ boiling that would take 5+ minutes to fix it.

The room was very clean and cosy.The only issue was the hot water service. It ran hot, then cold. The hot water ran out when having a shower the first night. I informed the staff, and they told me maintenance will have a look at the problem. In the morning the hot water ran out again. We had to turn off the hot water, then turn it back on again, it came back on, but we had very quick showers.
We had noticed on our arrival the front doors of some other rooms had notes on them informing them the hot water had been fixed.
The location is very good, but could the hot system be fixed or replaced?
