Nice property and location

Toller Aufenthalt
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayDie Wohnung ist wie auf den Fotos beschrieben, wunderbar gelegen und Carmelo ist ein wirklich toller, freundlicher, offener, zuverlässiger und aufmerksamer Host. Das Check-in war total entspannt, es gab einige schöne Annehmlichkeiten von Carmelo zurechtgelegt und eine Liste mit Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Zusätzlich hatte er Einkaufstipps, Restauranttipps und generell konnte er uns super unterstützen.
An der Straße befinden sich kleine Minimärkte, der Zugang über Stufen zum Strand, die Seilbahn nach Taormina und einige Restaurants. Die Parkplatzsituation war interessant, jedoch hatten wir größtenteils Glück und mussten nie weit laufen. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und sauber, nach kurzer Zeit schon fühlt man sich wie Zuhause. Hervorzuheben ist auch die große und schöne Terrasse mit dem schönsten Ausblick überhaupt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter!

Great Location and very pleasant Host
Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time in Taormina Mazzaro and were frequent at the lovely beach (gravel/pebble) nearby the Isola bella. Since we had a rental car, which was no problem with parking following the advice of our Host, we spent also a lot of time traveling around. Thanks to Carmelo Ruggeri!

Absolute gem in a perfect location

We absolutely adored our week here and would absolutely come again in a heart beat! This beautiful space is incredibly value for money being minutes from the beach and the cable car to Taormina.

Left a bit of our hearts in Isola Bella
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe most beautiful, breathtaking, phenomenal, magistical, stunning view of Isola Bella.
The apartment is well equipment and the beds super comfy. The aircon provided much needed respite from the summer temperatures ( early July). The terrace offers outside dining or aperitifs with the best view. There is a lift to help you up those last few stairs to the apartment after slogging the stairs to and from the beach ( which are very worth every step). Make sure to take your beach shoes ( the rocks are a hard on your feet without them) and a snorkel and mask.
Nothing was too big a problem for Carmelo, who without hestitation, came out at midnight to fix something for us.
The apartment is close to the cable car up to Taormina ( runs from 8 am to 1am) or there are regular busses from right outside the apartment door.
Be prepared to want to come back. 💜

Beautiful views and local facilities.
Taormina is accessible either by a 40 minute walk/climb or by Bus or Cable car.
Friendly and helpful host.
Definitely try and stay here again.

Great apartment
Publié le 26 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe apartment is Traditional Sicilian, spacious, clean, well equipped and benefits from an elevator.
The host is Carmelo, a really nice guy who offers a very warm welcome.
The views of Isola Bella and surrounding mountains from the balcony are stunning.
The beach is stony so take beach shoes.
The Isola Bella has a visitor centre with a fee of 5€ (super value)
There are minimarkets, restaurants and snack bars in the immediare vicinity.
Taormina is popular with tourists and this is wher e the bus terminal is.
There are bus stops within a short walking distance of the apartment but we found the timetables confusing and sometimes misleading so waiting at a stop for an hour or more was normal. Also if you use the bus not all of them accept cards so have cash ready.
Overall, it was a great pleasure staying at Gianni house and meeting Carmelo.
