Simply Amazing!
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwaySimply amazing experience! We stayed at Micheal’s apartment for almost a week. It was lovely. The apartment was clean and every room on the sea-view side had a balcony, including the bathroom! There was a full kitchen, and everything was in place. We had supper in the large terrace overseeing the sea and evening lights of the town. The tranquility… no one wanted to go back in.
The area was also very conveniently located, walking distance of restaurants, shops, and grocery. The communication with Michael and his partner, Roberto was seamless. They were quick and knowledgeable on every question we asked. The promptness was very important to us as it lessen the stress just knowing what to do and where to go. Try this place, we definitely recommend it.

Don't stay here
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAway6 flights of stairs with no lift. Stairwell with no lights. 600 meters to center, but didn't say down alot more stairs and a steep hill. Now we had to go up again through the whole process again. When our concern was voiced to owner he asked me not to write a bad review or he would give us a bad one too. Go ahead give me a bad review

1. There are four and a half flights of stairs and not six flights.
My ad clearly states "no elevator".
Further, I explain this in my Welcome package emailed to you after booking.
When you checked in, you admitted that you had not read the ad nor the welcome package.
2. The stairwell has lights but do not switch on automatically when one enters the stairwell; one needs to press the switch. I explained this to you.
3. Since Taormina is built on the hill.
Therefore, in 90 percent of these cases, one must climb up or down stairs to reach any place.
I explained to you the two ways to get to the restaurant, which is 400 meters rather than 600 meters away.
One is steep and has stairs to climb. The other one has a moderate gradient and is more comfortable.
4. It is not true that I told you I'd write a bad review on you if you do not write a positive one.
Since I do not see your review before I post mine, such a request does not make sense.
Since my ad is not misleading and my explanations were not read or followed, I consider your review unfair.
Further, since I have not made any conditions regarding reviewing your stay, I do not understand your false claim.

The Views!
Publié le 5 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwaySpacious penthouse apartment very close to the center of town. The terrace was wonderful place to hang out and the views are fantastic. The place was well-equipped, beautiful and spacious. The five-story walk up didn't bother us -- the views and privacy were worth it. It was hard to locate the exact building, even for local taxi drivers, gps couldn't pinpoint the building. Check-in was a little difficult. The trash situation was very hard to figure out -- instructions and containers needed.

Since I provided the exact geo-position of the building as well as instructions related to the trash with my welcome package I am sorry in case you missed reading them. However, you might have texted us to get this informations during your stay. Note for future guests: You do not need to take care of the trash since this is a service my cleaning company takes care of.

Publié le 7 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had an excellent holiday - the property is central to restaurants shops and the chair lift to the beach. All communication with the property manager has been very good - always prompt with good recommendations. The view from the patio area is stunning.
Taormina is relatively hilly though and there are steps to the apartment which you need to be prepared for but for us the views were worth it! Many thanks
