Not rushing back
Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe weren't able to check in until almost 8pm so we had to stay in the lobby until then. They comped some drinks for us while we wait but we'd driven all day and had to wait almost 5 hours after normal check in time. And, all the ice makers in 4 buildings were not functioning so we had to walk to the office to get ice (5 buildings away).

Despite the romantic sounding name, this hotel was just a large, functional, motel-like hotel really.
No breakfast served due to a gas leak when I was there.
Location is on a busy highway so pretty charmless locale.
Room was fine but unremarkable. Upper floor is stair-access only so not great if lots of luggage. Lower floor rooms a bit dark.

Fantastic lobby, but a surprisingly slow check-in, especially as another staff member left after a long phone call.
Rooms are large and attractive, with a large picture window with a view of other sections of the hotel.
