Holiday Stay
Publié le 31 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayDawn was a very accommodating host. She generously decorated for Christmas! The house is in a very rural setting with several tidal flooded roads in route. Well stocked kitchen, nice back porch with lots of seating, calming river views.
Rugs and furniture dated; abundant kitschy rivah/crabs/shells/light house decorations. One note, the two queen beds in primary bedroom are really for family sharing, not friends sharing. The primary bedroom could be super if it had a king bed, updated lights with working ceiling fans, and a more modern bathroom (very high mirror in bathroom is unusable).

We have owned Lands End Lodge for less than 2 years, it was set up for 12 guests(that is why there are 2 beds in primary room) but Essex County will only allow 2 guests per bedroom as of 2023. We added new large porch and new balcony last year and plan to update some rooms in the new year. The main floor has new Luxury vinyl flooring with 2 new rugs.
Lands End Lodge is a great place to spend time with family and friends!

LOVED the River House!

The property was so quiet and listing was exactly as advertised.
We enjoyed the back porch, all the squirrels and even saw a deer. There were no neighbors when we were there so felt like we were on our own little island.
Definitely would recommend, especially for a larger group, the house had plenty of room.
Dawn was super responsive!

My Happy Place

The location was perfectly peaceful and the amenities (linens, appliances, kayaks, comfy porch furniture, and wood for fire pit) provided just what we needed. Dawn was quick to reply to my texts and super helpful. The saddest part of the week was having to leave!!

Family Vacation

Close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. The house has pretty much everything you will need for a relaxing stay on the river. We are sad, due to local regulations, we won’t be able to use this property for family trips. We are considering a girls only trip because we so enjoy the location and the comfort of this property.

Wonderful 3 night stay!

The kids enjoyed being both inside & outside with plenty of activities available to them. We loved the porch, balcony, & dock- especially the river views. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful place.
