Parlay at Sunset is a large 5 Bedroom (sleeps 11), 3 Bathroom beachfront vacation rental on the beautiful island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Located on the calm, clear waters of Eleuthera's Caribbean side you can spend hours playing on the beach, snorkeling in the clear shallow waters or just soaking in the warm Bahamian sunshine. The beach at Parlay at Sunset is absolutely stunning. The usually calm 'Caribbean' blue waters are perfect for kayaking, snorkeling and diving. The sandy beach is miles long and filled with amazing seashells, large and small, all waiting to be collected and treasured.

Great stay in Tarpum Bay

We absolutely loved our stay at Parlay at Sunset! The house was great! Loved the layout, the recent updates and amenities in the house. The beach is great! It’s better at high tide when the rocks are covered as you walk in but once you get past them, it is smooth and beautiful! You can walk out pretty far before it even touches your waist. The sunsets there are gorgeous! Definitely take bug spray though! The little “no see ‘ems” are all over the island at night. I’ve stayed at a few places and always had them. Any issues we had with the house were promptly taken care of by the house manager, Charles, or the house owner, Diana. I appreciate both of them for their prompt responses and follow up communication. We used several vendors the house owner recommended and I am so glad we did. All were wonderful! I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my family (9 in all) visited Parlay at Sunset for a week and everything was amazing! Diana provides so much good information before your stay and it was all very helpful. Check in was easy and communication with Diana and the property manager Charles was always prompt. The house is upgraded and has everything you could need. We had 9 adults but the house still felt spacious and open and never cramped. The beach is awesome and everything you could want. Sprawling powdery sand with lots of lounge chairs, tables and shade under the gazebo. The swimming area is pristine with a mix of rock and sand in various layers which made it nice for swimming and for snorkeling. We saw a few rays, lobster, fish, conch, jellyfish, squid, starfish, etc, it was magical. We also happened to be there during Homecoming so we met so many nice people in Tarpum Bay and Rock Sound. Can't wait to go back!

Grateful for Parlay at Sunset

Few properties anticipate vacationers' needs as thoroughly as this one. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beach area was like a mini resort, the property manager was available to us and handled any issues quickly, its proximity to Tarpum Bay helped us meet wonderful people and get fresh fish, lobster, and conch salad, and the small market in town met our needs. Children are clearly welcomed here with a clean, charming play area. They even had enough laundry hampers and towels for a large, busy family. Just remember to bring water shoes and your insect repellent of choice--you will likely need these wherever you go in Eleuthera anyway. Such wonderful memories were made!

Tarpon Bay Beach Paradise

The property was so beautiful and made you never want to leave! We enjoyed snorkeling in the crystal clear water right outside the backdoor and stargazing under the clear starlit sky while listening to the waves crash just feet from us. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and serene place to be! Diana the owner and Charles the property manager were so kind and helpful the entire trip from start to finish which made a perfect experience even better than we could have ever imagined. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect seclusion!

This place was fantastic, so much space. Excellent communication! We absolutely love the amenities, and please read the brochure. There are so many wonderful add-ons, we enjoyed catering delivery from cocojo’s, arriving late on the island, having food drinks, and then concierge grocery delivery from the marketplace. What a wonderful way to show up. The beach is a bit rocky, but they provide all kinds of water shoes, but if you have your own, bring them! we saw conch, all kinds of wonderful fish, so many starfish, and sand dollars. Please respect this beautiful place. Don’t bring any of those creatures out of the water, observe, but don’t take! You can walk miles in any direction and not even see a human, this place is so beautifully remote, but yet only 15 minutes from the rock sound airport. This is the epitome of convenience yet seclusion. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! oh, and there is this fantastic dog that comes around, I don’t know if she’s stray, but she 100% is the friendliest most amazing dog, we bought several cans of dog food while there to feed her, she is a wonderful companion to hang out with, and would love some snuggles, please give her some!

Nice get away

We stayed at Parlay at Sunset 11/12-11/17. The home is huge and beautiful! I was almost sad we had such a large space for 3 people... almost! The yard and beach are gorgeous!We never saw anyone else on the "private" beach. Charles made sure we were well taken care of and even brought us homemade punch and rum! We will be back!!

Chilling at Parlay on Sunset in Eleuthra

Perfectly location on a secluded beach and right off the Queens Highway. We enjoyed sunset evenings in the gazebo & the calm blue waters. Liked that the bedrooms are on either side of the living area. Note that there are no immediate neighbours and plan to shop for meals or eat out at one of the local restaurants. Our host Diana and property manager Charles were very responsive and accommodating. Be sure to read the house book for tips about places to eat and visit. Hifhly recommend staying at Parlay! Parlay at Sunset was a great stay. There were a few minor hiccups from the previous renters, but Charles the property manager took care of things within a timely manner. We had a wonderful stay, and the private beach area was serene and blissful. My family had fun shell hunting. I recommend Parlay at Sunset for your Tarpum Bay stay.

Amazing 8 Day Stay

We had a group of 11 of us stay at Parlay @ Sunset. We had such an amazing stay. We loved the beautiful beach!!! We loved the outdoor shower and the screened in back porch. We had plenty of room to spread out! We loved having two washers and dryers. We had everything we needed for our cooking purposes! We had an issue with water pressure, but the host was quick to respond. We loved our stay and would definitely come back to this house and beautiful island!

Fantastic Vacation!

This property is amazing and we had NO disappointments! The beds were comfortable and felt like home versus a hotel bed. The kitchen had almost every appliance you could want to help prep meals. The Screenroom was our favorite place to take our meals. We spent most of our week kayaking and snorkeling off the beach outside the house. There is so much wildlife right in the water right off the shore. We will cherish this trip and hope to return to Parlay at Sunset!

Perfect for family with small kids

We had a great vacation at Parlay at Sunset. The location is very private, no close neighbors. The kitchen is very well equipped including lots of spices. We loved the Bahamas Room. The sunsets were amazing. A great selection of sunscreen and bug repellent was appreciated. We had as many as 4 local, well behaved dogs to enjoy. Buy some dog food, they are hungry. We hope to return soon for more than 8 days.

The house was great, the wall decor a bit cliche, the starving neighborhood dogs were a sad sight. The beach and water was perfect and the hosts very helpful. If you like dogs I suggest you pick up a bag of dog food, lots of dog begging otherwise!

Perfection for a family of laid back travelers!

I just wanted to thank you for sharing Parlay at Sunset with us! We had a fantastic time in Eleuthera. It might not be for everyone...but it was perfect for us! The house has ample room, a great kitchen with anything you need and more. We had planned to have our grandchildren with us but they didn't make it - we wish that they could have because they have everything necessary for them too! Diana has gone overboard to provide all of the information that you could/would need for your stay. We found food and new friends along the way too! She is spot-on with her suggestions of people to contact for services and they were all so lovely! It was an awesome vacation!

Parlay at Sunset is a great villa. I was amazed how much rooms and space we had. Many bedrooms, sofas, kitchen appliances, etc. On the first day when we reached the patio, we saw the beach setup with all the kayaks, paddle boards , we knew we made the right choice. This villa is spacious, clean, directly on the beach. Just amazing !

Wonderful respite in southern Eleuthera

We had just a short stay in Tarpum Bay and rented this wonderful property. The beach was great and the amenities were very good. The location is a bit remote which we like but may not be for everyone. The house was extremely comfortable and catered to the children which was wonderful. Would certainly go back here again for a longer period in the future. We love Eleuthera !!!!

Amazing vacation place for our family!

This place was perfect for our family. There was enough indoor/outdoor space to spend lazy days unwinding at home, or go out adventuring. The equipment at the house was easily accessible, in good shape and well organized so we could paddle board and snorkel very easily. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dishes to make meal prep easy. Diana helped us organize car rental, allowing us to enjoy a fishing charter in the North as well as visit other beaches and sights along the Queen's Highway. The information on shopping and other tips were very helpful from this host! It's a beach cottage, so there were some insects and a few quirks, but nothing that significantly detracted from our enjoyment of the place. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay.

We found the property online. From the beginning, we had several communications with the owner/manager. They were extremely responsive and helpful to every question. The property looked beautiful in the pictures, but was even better in person. We had a large group of six adults and four children but we were all able to stay comfortably and enjoy this exceptional property. You will enjoy it as well.

Amazing private property

We were all amazed by the beauty of Eleuthera. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Our backyard was a private resort. We enjoyed all the activities and couldn’t get enough of the water. The only thing I can stress to take serious is the no seeums, don’t go outside without bug spray at all times. Out of seven of us, I got the worst bitten. And I didn’t even know it till we arrived back home. They creep up 1 to 2 days later. It still won’t keep me from coming back again someday. We loved the property! Thank you Diana for sharing your amazing home with us.

This was our favorite VRBO ever, and we have stayed in many! Diana answered any questions we had right away. We rented two vehicles from Diana, and they were at the airport waiting for us. The house accommodated our group of eight adults without any problems. Everyone said their beds were extremely comfortable. Having a washer and dryer at each end of the house was also very handy for our group. If we were not out on the beach we would be in the screened in patio. The beach, right out our backdoor, was amazing. We had a couple people in our group who were not swimmers, but they ended up loving the water as much as the rest of us. It was so warm, calm, and clear, snorkeling right there was simply great. The power did go out briefly a few times, but the generator kicked on right away. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also ventured out and the property was located central to everything. I cannot say enough about this property. If you get a chance to get to Eleuthera do not hesitate to stay here, you will not be disappointed!
