Fantastic Getaway
Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot!

Cabin was clean and privacy was excellent. Only 2 negative comments. Bathroom needed some kind of shelf or top for personal items during the stay. The kitchen could have been stocked better with dish towels, silverware, storage containers. Also, the TV would not connect at all and.

Lots of minor issues that need fixed. Definitely do something with the ruts in the road. No tv no internet. It was very peaceful. Floors need cleaned my feet became dirty not long after my shower.

Cozy Cabin Adventure
We enjoyed our cabin experience as a family for our anniversary. It was nice and clean. Loved the screened in porch. We were reluctant to find the WiFi and the tv wasn’t working nor did we have cell service so that was the only thing to note.. We did use our downloaded movies on an iPad and hooked up an HDMI cable so we made the most of it with two kiddos. Was a good opportunity to unplug and enjoy the cozy cabin experience.

Cute place, host was great, but oven was dirty, hot tub had no water ,tv remotes didnt work, fire place had no igniter and wow there are squrrills in the 1 bedroom roof that kept our guest up at night

Family Getaway with Kids
Pros: The land surrounding this cabin is beautiful and secluded. No cell service and very weak wifi, which is what we were looking for. It was a good size for our family of 4. The cabin itself is very old and really neat. Feels like a piece of history. The small kitchen is stocked with the very basics, missing a few items we needed such as can opener and wine opener. The host was quick to make sure we had access to those. Cons: This cabin is rustic, more rustic than we had anticipated. Narrow uphill gravel road to get to the cabin. We were excited about the playground nearby for our toddlers, but it is in pretty rough shape with nails sticking out and jagged edges on the slide top. Some parts of the cabin were damaged like the screen and lock on the door. The sheets in the bed my husband and I slept in appeared clean but then had visible dirt at the feet, maybe like someone slept in the clean bed with their shoes on? The cabin appeared clean otherwise, but this did make us question the cleanliness. The location is very remote- closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away, this was fine for us as we brought everything, but its very much out in nature, not close to civilization.

What a sweet cabin in the woods!!
Very accommodating for our family getaway👍 Loved the assortment of Keurig coffee and hot chocolate. It happened to be chilly q couple nights. I would rent there again.

Weekend getaway
Great weekend getaway to relax and unplug! Cabin had everything we needed, went on a wonderful hike, cooked out, fire pit, corn hole, and relaxed. Lots of peace and quiet - much needed!

Wedding Anniversary getaway
The property was perfect for our weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary, we love to be in nature and wanted some place quite and peaceful to bring our dogs along with us to enjoy nature it was a great place. Our host was very prompt on answering any questions we had and the cabin was very clean and homey.
