Brand new modern home, first time on the market. 4.2 hectares (10 acres) of private, peaceful and tranquil elevated land with views over the Whanganui River and across to Mt Ruapehu. Close to the National Park and ski fields. Relax in the swinging egg chair or double Cape Cod chair, listen to the river and bird life, watch kayakers and jetboats on the river below, or adventure tourism is at your doorstep. The house is positioned to maximise sun and shade throughout the day with a large expansive sundrenched deck.

Every convenience of a modern home; microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heat pump, WiFi, Samsung smart tv, electric blankets, bbq. Brand new king size beds, extremely comfortable each with comfort toppers, mattress and pillow protectors for a great night’s sleep. Bedrooms have black out blinds. All linen supplied. Kitchen is fully equipment – just bring your food and beverages. Gas cooking and hot water. Water tanks with water filter for drinking and strong water pressure. Mains power with backup solar power.

Local activities include river adventures, cycling and walking trails, trout fishing, hunting (gun safe available), skiing, old rail cart tours, lavender farm, Alpaca farm, Bradley's gardens, tour along the Old Forgotten Highway, visit Whangamomona Hotel and the Bridge to Nowhere and much more. Private tours can be arranged to a local working farm station upon request with advanced notice.

Property was just what we needed for our short break. Close to town but with an ‘away from it all’ feeling. House was extremely clean and tidy. Kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking our own meals. Lovely sunny spot.
