Well located for the train station and cricket ground. However, it is on a busy road with plenty of pubs and takeaways a stone's throw away, so don't expect a quiet night. Can't sleep with the window open, but a good fan is provided. The window being closed did stop most of the noise.
Condition of the room could be better, could be worse. Bed was average. Walls are thin, could hear conversations happening next door.
Bathroom tap had hot and cold labelled the wrong way around. Soap had a strange scent, almost like rubber. Shower took a couple minutes for hot water to come through.
Overall, despite a few flaws, it's a fairly run-of-the-mill hotel and I'd consider staying here again.
