Endroit sympathique mais à l’abandon…cependant très bien pour passer une nuit.

Grand nom pour petit hotel

Le nom ne reflète pas ce que l'on a mais cela reste a peu près correct. Il manquait des couverts pas de couverture supplémentaires. Enplacement vraiment sympa

Booking and check in was straight forward and easy. Room was warm when we arrived which was good. Beds were made well. Towels and bedding clean. But unfortunately it goes down hill from there. Walls were dirty, doors dirty, sofa was dirty, used soap from previous guest in shower, previous guests hair in bathroom vanity/ draws, spa had a poo smell when using the jets/ bubbles, jug for a coffee and plug in heater didn’t work. A power point switch was not working and unsafe to use dusty on surface's and inside cupboards which holds cutlery, no flannels to wash your face. No extra blankets if you get chilly in the night. Good unit with plenty of potential but needs a bloody good clean.

If you looking for a Thermal Spa Resort- this is not that. If you looking for a cabin in the woods, and a bed to sleep this is your place. The Hotel is very run down, and falling apart. They have tried to make it nice by painting etc but overall, very old and well used. For this type of money, you are better to stay at the campgrounds down the road.

A bit of NZ history and must have been a ‘Grandeur’ in its day so I hope it’s restored! Good price, perhaps reflecting its quaintness! Great for accessing the bike tracks and free hot pools.

Absolutely vial! Cold and dirty! Absolutely nothing like the pictures i will never return! I actually want my money back!! Rubbish everywhere and much much more
