reeked of tobacco

we booked for two nights and had to bail and go to another hotel. the room reeked of tobacco smoke. Walls were peeling, shower was missing tiles. One of the worst rooms i have stayed in and i have stayed in first, second, and third world countries.

Needs renovation and improving, especially the kitchen and toilet. Photos are not showing the reality. Good communication with the staff and spot of the accomodation.

Much less than average

Aside from a very good general location, this is really not suitable for a family of four. (One bed blanket, one bowl?). in the general location is very central to everything, but the actual location of the accommodation seems to be behind a narrow alleyway without any lighting. A bit sketchy if arriving or leaving at night with luggage. Maybe a good place for a night or two for a solo couple. Plus probably wins for most complicated process of checking in that we’ve ever dealt with in all our travels

mala cama, mal olor en la ducha, y con una entrada para llegar al dpto. no muy comoda. además me cobraron extras que aún no se de que estamos hablando. USD 275 por 2 noches es irrisorio y bordeando una estafa. Por ese precio me quedo mejor en un hotel 5 estrellas. Un absoluto desastre.

As for the price paid - We strive to give the best value for money in the city, it's one of our main goals. I am very sorry you felt it was a high price however I can guarantee it's a very fair price comparing to Tel Aviv and comparing to the time booked (very busy weekend). Donna

The studio is in an excellent location, just two blocks from the beach. The room is quite small (there is no more but what appears in the photo) but clean, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is also fine. There were friendly notes and tea-making supplies. However, the only windows open onto a public inner balcony; not many people go by but it is not at all private. A cat jumped in at one point! The shutters can be closed, but then there is little ventilation. The mini-fridge would have been convenient if I were staying longer, but it made so much noise I unplugged it during the night. Suggestions were posted about lockers where bags could be stored after morning check-out, but the ones nearby were no longer functioning.

I'm really happy to hear you like the location and the cleanliness, we really think it's the most important things for our guests. I can't agree more about the size of the room, it is indeed quite small and fits a single traveler or couples only. Thanks for the feedback regarding the fridge, I'll look into it. As for the cat - this rude little kitten is living in the building's garden and sometimes he finds his way up to the hallway. If he ever bugs your stay I encourage you to let me know and you can rest assure I will walk him back downstairs. Besides, as for luggage keeping, we are now working on a connection with a better service that can also offer luggage pick-up or drop-off services, will keep our guests posted :) Thanks again for a great stay!!
