Good hotel water problems tho

Lovely friendly staff nice hotel but we had no hot water and had to have cold showers which resulted in us getting a partial refund

Location was good for trip and staff very friendly plus bed was super comfortable. However, food in bar wasn’t great (had a pizza and garlic bread) and the bartender could not understand I wanted a normal Coke and gave me Diet Coke even after asking twice. While I got a good nights sleep, the attention to detail in regards to cleaning is severely lacking in the room. Old spiders webs, dirt, some red stuff on bedside light switch and very old hard water stains on shower seals. Would have complained but overheard at the check-in desk that they were fully booked so would not have done much good. Bottomline, nice staff and easy location off M54, but room conditions let it down massively. I do not plan to stay there again even with the low price offers. Disappointing.

Bad communication

Hi Unfortunately disappointed with general customer service and lack of correct communication. On arrivals after a long day of traveling and work i asked if the pool was available for use and was told yes by check in/reception staff. However then when I went to use it i was told it was closed and had been for a while and wouldnt be opening any time soon. Couldn't use the steam room or sauna either. Very disappointing as was much looking forward to some down time. The food however was lovely and the staff in the restaurant were also so polite.
