A historic property and a great atmosphere. The glass floor in room 5 was really cool. A lovely little town and a nice bar to get wasted

Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HotelsWas in Ironbridge for the regatta and The Swan is in a perfect location. Friendly staff, nice breakfast (taken at Malt House 100m up road). Live music on Saturday and good food as well

It was our first time in The Swan but wont be our last. Rooms were clean comfortable. Good value for money. Breakfast was in the sister hotel a short walk down the street and was superb. Will definitely come back.

Maybe give a warning that because of the building’s age, there are many steps to negotiate. Challenging for those with mobility problems.
Crazily long wait for dinner to be served. It is obviously a very popular restaurant but a wait of over an hour to be served is not good. And a couple near us waited even longer!
Nice clean en suite bathroom, with a proper bath but a , cracked washbasin and water not hot. Fortunately after boiling the supplied kettle six times and adding it to the bath, it was ok.
Wonderfully comfortable bed, puts many a more expensive place to shame.
Very good breakfast, everything you could possibly want.

Excellent stay in Ironbridge, with the property in a great location with on site parking.
Breakfast included in the price was outstanding and we even ate at the smokehouse for dinner, which was very tasty.
Nice view of the river out the room window.
Only downside was the low beams and ceilings around the rooms but only an issue as I’m quite tall.

Great location, staff very attentive, good food, bathroom could do with an update and WiFi signal doesn't make it to the room so had to utilise downstairs

I won’t stay again
Publié le 8 nov. 2023 sur HotelsTerrible stay. No signal or Wi-Fi in the room. No shower in the room just a bath tub. Skylight in the room which let the light in. Was told kitchen closes at 9.30 went to order at 9 and was told the chef has finished. I was also blocked in the car park in the morning by staff.
