Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe're both 70 years old. We've had a lot of experience. Cupid's Cove rates a 10 out of a 10. Getting there! Peaceful surroundings. Huge, age-old trees. Cozy cabin. Well stocked. The Fire Ring is the highlight. Close to cabin.
Good lighting outside. These old folks are so, so pleased! Communication with Dan and Angela was great. Late October has to be the best. If we had 4-wheel drive, a stay in the winter would be so, so warm and secluded and cozy. Michael & Catherine, London OH

Thank you Michael for the kind review. It’s feedback from folks like yourself that let Angela and I know the extra effort is worth it. As for winter lol you probably see more snow in Ohio. Ironically though in reference to road, the neighbors reached out Saturday looking for my support in having all the roads redone. Will let you know when that is complete. Should you want to come back reach out as we give repeat guests 10% off all future stays.

Perfect Getaway!!
Publié le 29 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely fantastic! When I walked in I was impressed. The lights on the stairs caught my eveys immediately a perfect touch! It was so quite and peaceful. Once it noticed the balcony I stayed there for awhile taking in the view and watching the trees dancing in the wind. It was a full moon the first night and it was simply amazing on the balcony. A perfect way to celebrate my 63rd birthday!!

Beautiful Getaway

The location is perfect, giving just enough privacy but still having someone close enough should any need arise. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we are already looking forward to our next anniversary trip!

My partner and I enjoyed our weekend stay here! It was a much needed getaway from the city where we live. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire, spending time in the hot tub, and using the charcoal grill! During the rainy evenings, we had a great time watching movies on the couch and talking all night.
However, we were disappointed in the overall lack of communication from the hosts. The only communication received directly from them was a very useful packet of information a few weeks prior to our arrival, but other than that there was no follow up or check ins from them (only Expedia asking us to rate our stay so far) to be sure all was well.
Further, when we arrived at the cabin the power and phones were out due to some severe storms rolling through the area. This itself was too much of an issue, but the lack of contact from the hosts, either prior to this event alerting us to the potential for power outage (as most power companies nowadays do alert their customers to outages in the area) and, or after this event to be sure all was well, we found very frustrating in comparison to other hosts we have used before.
All in all, we had a very great stay and would certainly be back now that we know what to expect!
