A functional stay

The good:
- Close to lots of restaurants, coffee, shops
- Easy parking in driveway and street
- comfortable common area
The bad:
- understocked (no dish soap, shampoo/body wash, only 5 towels for 6 beds)
- non-master bathroom shower had a consistent drip/leak
- check in code for lock was not functional (the host was very responsive and quickly resolved the issue)

House was overall lean but one bedroom had dirty sheets that smelled like body odor and we had no clean wash rags. Had to request check in info and request check out info. Other than that the host was very responsive. I recommended to him to have some bath wash available also, as there was none. No place to sit luggage except floor also.

Quaint Texas Home

The down side was the floors were dirty and the yard had not been cut in weeks. The owner did respond he was aware and that they had a lot of rain but we had 3 days s of sun and it was not cut while we were there.

Clean but lacking
Publié le 29 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home had minimal supplies- no hand towels, 2 face cloths, and few bath towels for the whole house. Empty soap bottles, and salt and pepper. A queen bed did not have a flat sheet until we found a smaller top sheet in the other bedroom. The twin beds had no pillows with pillow cases- they were shams that looked old and almost dirty. Minimal supplies. The yard was overgrown with grass going to seed and likely that is why there were so many beetles crawling around and into the home. Minimal seating in the living space. No bureaus or benches to put suitcases or other items on in the bedrooms. No hangers in closets. The place has potential but needs attention.
