The Lake House, vacation at the lake shore

Watts Bar Lake is in your backyard. Located in a quiet, peaceful area. A two bedroom with comfy queen beds, two full baths (one has a soaking tub), living room and family room with queen size sleeper sofa wifi, and smart tv. Comes with two adult and two children's kayaks. Bring your boat, the launch ramp is right around the corner at Fooshee Pass Recreation Area. The Lake House has a large driveway. Enjoy coffee/breakfast on the rear deck as you watch the fish jump in the lake or take the provided lawn chairs down to the water's edge and watch the kids play in lake. Swim from the shore or at a nearby beach area less than 1/2 mile away. Be on the lookout for beautiful wildlife such as deer. When evening comes, enjoy roasting hotdogs and marshmallows at the fire pit or make use of several board games that are provided.

Property was perfectly described. Our kids loved exploring on the kayaks every day and the cove provided safe waters to do so. Internet was great for working and watching the Olympics. Property manager was extremely responsive. Everything was very clean. There were books, board games, and great decorations. We came for the fishing tournament on Lake Chick, and left with a lifetime of memories.

The lake was the draw for us and my grandchildren loved kayaking in the evenings after we returned from a full day of adventures. We all enjoyed the neighborhood and how quiet it was and felt very rested sitting by the lake. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely getaway
Our stay was very peaceful. The home is very convenient to multiple boat and water access ramps. The home was clean and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the soaking tub. Only downside was most of the nearby restaurants close at 3pm during the week so we had a little drive to get food.

Loved the location and view. House was clean with everything we needed for our stay. We tend to be a little more sensitive and we did end up going out and purchasing an air purifier to help with mildew smell coming from the ventilation system.

The lake house was clean and comfortable for our family of six. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes etc for cooking our own meals. Our kids enjoyed using the kayaks daily.

House was a peaceful spot to enjoy the lake and we enjoyed having access to the house kayaks. Our only complaint were several doors in the house. The bedroom door is misaligned on its hinges, making it difficult to shut and making it often pop open with the AC turns on. This was not an issue for my partner and I, but if there were additional guests in the second bedroom, privacy would have been an issue. Additionally, the bathroom with the shower has an interesting issue with the door getting stuck and there were several times my partner had to come let me out of the bathroom.

Great for what we were looking for.
The house was fine for our small group of people. The pro's were it had everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry room and living areas. We had to find out from neighbor that we could walk along the lake as it belonged to the TVA. It is definitely rural so you should know about that. The only down side were the bathroom door handle was messed up and you did not want to shut the bathroom for fear of getting stuck in there. They need to fix the bathroom door and the main bedroom door. We enjoyed our stay.

The location and accommodations were great, Grand kids had a good time using the Kayaks' I was a little disappointed that there was not more access to the water for fishing , has a small cove for launching kayaks' other property on both sides private Property, was thankful that the neighbor to the left allowed us to come over to dock to swim. Overall everyone had a good time I would recommend this location IT was very private area

The house was the perfect size for our needs (2 adults, 1 child). It was equipped with all the necessary tools, appliances, and other things we needed for our stay. The property has an outlet to the larger lake with kayaks. It is nearby a couple beaches, especially the park near the damn/nuclear plant. It also close to a variety of restaurants and the marina itself. Overall this was a nice, quiet location, great for a small family getaway.

Finding parking for a place for three boats and trucks isn’t easy. Dan’s place was spot on! Front yard needed a little TLC but who hangs out in the front when you have a great backyard! Neighbor hood was great and a boat ramp just a short drive away made this stay perfect.

Overall very nice property. Had some trouble with electricity, but was minor inconvenience. Specifically asked about outdoor access to plug in our boats battery charger. There was access, but it didn't work. I would reserve this property again.
