Accueil très sympathique .belle chambre bouteilles d’eau chocolat et cookie de bienvenue .excellent petit déjeuner gâteau fait maison brochette de fruits frais . Ça change des produits gras et sucrés servis dans les autres motels . A recommander les yeux fermés .

The Hidden Gem

Wonderful service. Staff was Accommodating. The room was immaculate and the outdoor patio/hang out area was a nice change of pace from other larger hotels. Eating breakfast in the morning was very similar to having breakfast at grandma's house. If you didn't get enough to eat it was your own fault. Would stay here again in an instant.

Had an amazing experience at our stay at the Carter Inn. The owners were very kind. Breakfast was very good!

Was a very nice little motel. Owner operators were wonderful and cooked a grear homemade breakfast.

I loved the little details. This property is operated by the owners and is run like a bed and breakfast. Very friendly and personable owners. Great breakfast.

Sehr bemühtes Eigentümer Paar! Uriger, origineller Aussenbereich mit mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten. Fantastisches Homemade Frühstück. Einziger Haken ist der laute Kühlschrank.

This place is an oasis in the Wilds of Wyoming. It has been updated very nicely but still retains it's motor Lodge look and feel. There are many little nice touches - robes/bath slippers, rolled towels, and water and chocolates. Bathroom is very well done.

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts are so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a positive experience. The rooms are very comfortable with small extra touches such as chocolate in the fridge, bath robes and an ice cream when you arrive. Parking is easy, just outside of the rooms and there is a garden area where you can sit in the shade. Breakfast was delicious and home cooked. You won’t leave hungry! We also had the chance to chat with the hosts and other guests. The property is within walking distance of several places to eat and the hosts will explain where they all are on the Main Street. We loved staying at The Carter Inn. It was perfect and we would definitely recommend staying here if you are in this part of the world.

We arrived two hours before check-in, hoping to leave our bags a cooler, and were greeted with "you know there's no early check-in" from the person we later learned was the owner. Our room was almost uninhabitable. The air conditioner did not work, and the sun beating down on it raised the temperature to well over 90. It never cooled off. There was no table in the room, almost no room to do anything else. Ice was difficult to come by, the owners were never around, chimes outside kept us up all night. Hard to understand what people like about the place. I guess since there's no competition they can do what they want and charge what they want.

We are saddened to receive your negative review on our Inn. We work very hard to ensure our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience. As owners we are the sole employees of our business, therefore, we prepare breakfast, clean-up, check out guests, clean all rooms, laundry, maintain the property, check-in guests, assist with their needs and prep for breakfast for the next day. We have a 3 pm check in so we can complete these tasks, ensuring guests have a great experience. We live on the premise and are available 24 hours a day, if not in person, then by phone. Regarding the issue with the air conditioner, all of our air conditioners are in excellent working condition and maintain a consistent cool temperature when operated properly. You were offered an additional fan and/or room change -both of which you declined. The Carter Inn is a small, boutique inn, not a business chain hotel. We will continue to offer warm western hospitality to all of our guests. PS In Wyoming we prefer the sound of chimes to sirens.
